The following is a summary of his business transaction during the first six months of trading: 1. A delivery van was bought and on 1/1/2011 at a cost of $3,900.00. It was estimated to have useful of 5 years at the time of purchase. 2. During the period, supplies were paid $10,300.00 for vegetables and invoices totaling $3,400.00 remained unpaid at 31/12/2011. 3. Cash sales totaled $13,000.00 4. Credit sales amounted to $3,200.00 and $600.00 out of this amount was outstanding as at 31/12/2011 5. Rent of $1,800.00 was paid on the commencement of then business 6. An amount of $1,200.00 was paid for sundry operating expenses. Bills for electricity and telephone (both constituting part of the sundry expense), estimated at $20.00 and $40.00 respectively, had not been received as at 31/12/2011 7. During the period, Mr. Kofi Amposah withdrew cash of $560.00 from the business for his private use 8.
