A World of Opportunity: Planning for Foreign Nationals National Audio Conference January 14, 2014 12:00-1:00 pm ET Foreign Nationals are a growing demographic, and many who regularly visit, do business, or own property in this country are unaware of the potential tax exposure they face. For Foreign Nationals, or someone married to one, issues of gift and estate taxes can be daunting and costly if not properly managed. A survey of recent immigrants to the U.S. with a net worth of $10 million or more found that less than 10% sought financial advice that could minimize U.S. estate taxes. Join us and learn what you need to know to help preserve client assets and minimize transfer taxes for this rapidly growing market. Attendees Will Learn: Market Opportunity: The size and location of the growing Foreign National population The Importance of Planning: Addressing financial issues and concerns that the client may not even be aware of Simple Solution: The many benefits of life insurance in planning for Foreign Nationals Featured Speakers: John Oliver, CLU, ChFC, MBA, is vice president, field development, for Transamerica.
