BUSINESS RESTRUCTURING Stearns Weaver Miller s Business Restructuring Department counsels clients throughout the State of Florida and has represented clients in connection with many of the state s largest bankruptcies. We have both the trial skills and the business acumen necessary to successfully resolve bankruptcy issues through negotiation or litigation. When representing creditors, particularly secured creditors in foreclosure proceedings, we do not allow the filing of bankruptcy proceedings to intimidate or delay our clients in pursuing their rights and obtaining expeditious results. LAND DEVELOPMENT & ZONING Stearns Weaver Miller's Land Development & Zoning Department guides clients through the complex processes regulating every aspect of land use, including rezoning, comprehensive land use plan amendments, coastal development permitting, eminent domain/inverse condemnation litigation, environmental permitting, audits and consent orders, and constitutional issues.
