The Hon. Dave Camp PwC Managing Director, Senior Policy Advisor, Tax Policy Services (989) 488-8807 david.l.camp@pwc.com A member of Congress for over 24 years, Chairman Camp served as Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means and is recognized for his leadership in advancing federal tax reform. In March 2014, he introduced the Tax Reform Act of 2014, the most comprehensive tax reform proposal since the mid-1980s. Prior to his Chairmanship, he was a member of the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) for six years, serving as Chairman in 2011 and 2013 and Vice Chairman in 2012 and 2014. The Honorable Dave Camp is Senior Policy Advisor within PwC s Washington National Tax Services (WNTS) practice. In this role, Chairman Camp provides his perspective to PwC clients on the global business environment and important federal policy issues, including tax reform, the economy and the impact of proposed policy changes on businesses. Michael s early work in process automation won him innovation honors from global technology analysts and several keynote addresses on the topic at international conferences. Over the past five + years, Michael has been entirely focused on the application of IPA across multiple industries. Advised several leading global outsourcing services firms to embed RPA/IPA in service delivery models. Michael leads the Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) center within Emerging Technologies at PwC. He is focused on digital workforce transformation through the application of Robotic Process Automation, business process management, and artificial intelligence. In this role, Michael is establishing the capability to both advise clients on their process automation journey and to transform their operations through the successful deployment of intelligent process automation. Stefanie s experience ranges from large multinational corporations to privately held companies, to start-up enterprises and she has led the engagements of several clients as they reinvent themselves and their business models for improved competitive positioning. Michelle Lee PwC Partner, Tax Reporting and Strategy US Tax Robotics Process Automation Leader (646) 591-6686 michelle.s.lee@pwc.com Led several proof of concept Bots projects for at a global medical device companies that saved between 80-90% of time spent on data gathering/reconciliation process between the corporate function and shared service center. Conducted RPA readiness and opportunity assessment workshops for several power and utility companies and built proof of value Bots. Consulted companies around building their automation process capabilities. Advised technology companies across accounting and tax functions, on process scanning and process identification and qualification methodologies. Led numerous tax functional assessments to produce a business case around operational improvements. Michelle is a partner who works in the national Digital Labor Platform practice (e.g., Intelligent Process Automation, including Robotic Process Automation ( RPA or Bots ), Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, etc.). In the last several years, Michelle has been leading a team of people that specializes in RPA, including establishing Global RPA Centers of Excellence, identifying and delivering Proof of Value Bots, RPA vendor selections as well as process redesign, data mapping/blueprinting/organization, data governance, and implementing a number of different technology enabled solutions. Relocated to Los Angeles in July 2014 to lead the Southern California tax mergers and acquisition group after spending the previous 8 years in Washington, DC in PricewaterhouseCoopers' national tax office as a partner in the mergers and acquisitions group. Significant experience in large-scale engagements ranging from full value chain transformation projects, in assisting his clients with tax efficient structuring of their supply chain and intra-group transactions, aligning with the operational objectives, to documentation of his clients' positions on a global basis. Extensive experience in assisting his clients with tax dispute matters including defense of IRS and foreign tax authority initiated examinations, competent authority proceedings, and proactive negotiations of Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) and tax rulings covering tangible, intangible and services transactions.
