Health Insurance Contributions Pgs. 13-14, Article XXII(A) Health Insurance Delete Sections A(1), A(2), A(3) and A(4) and replace it with the following: Effective July 1, 2016, all members of the unit shall contribute the following towards the percentage of premium based on the cost of the OUSDHP Individual and Family premiums: 2016-17 Base salary less than $80,000 6% Base salary between $80,001 - $93,000 8% Base salary greater than $93,000 9% 2017-18 Base salary less than $80,000 7% Base salary between $80,001 - $93,000 8.5% Base salary greater than $93,000 9.5% 2018-19 Base salary less than $80,000 8% Base salary between $80,001 - $93,000 9% Base salary greater than $93,000 10% 2019-20 All unit members pay 11% The Board shall pay the balance of the cost of health insurance premiums for either Individual or Family plans. Remove language from 2010-2013. Replace with the language including bands. This is a new concept as a unit, we will be paying 11% of the health insurance premium in the 2019-2020 school year.

Health Insurance continued In the event that the parties do not have a successor agreement in effect on July 1, 2020, then the rate of eleven (11%) percent of the health insurance premium for Individual and Family plans shall be frozen based on the rates in effect as of June 30, 2020, until such time as the parties have reached a settlement for a successor agreement. New language protects BTA members from having to pay more for insurance if the premium changes without a negotiated contract.

Salary Increases

Salary Increases Salary Increases: Article VIII shall be amended to reflect the following salary increases: 2014-2015 Effective July 1, 2014, 2.00% increase to the 2013-2014 salary schedule Appendix A. To be eligible for such retroactive salary increases, unit members must be on the payroll during the 2014-15 school year and on the date of the ratification of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, those unit members who retired during the 2014-15 school year shall be eligible for a retroactive increase. RETROACTIVE PAY 2015-2016-- Effective July 1, 2015, 1.50% salary increase to the 2014-2015 salary schedule Appendix A. To be eligible for such retroactive salary increases, unit members must be on the payroll during the 2015-2016 school year and on the date of the ratification of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, those unit members who retired during the 2015-16 school year shall be eligible for a retroactive increase. RETROACTIVE PAY

New Concepts

Vote-Cope Contributions Pg. 5, Article X(D) Payroll Deductions Add a new paragraph D which provides as follows: The Business Office shall deduct and remit payments to the NYSUT VOTE/COPE Fund upon submission of a signed authorization to the Business Office for any bargaining unit member requesting this deduction. New language additional paragraph

Teacher Transfer Pg. 10, Article XIV Teacher Transfers Add the following to the third paragraph: In the event that a unit member is involuntarily transferred to teach a curriculum for which they have had no prior experience teaching, the teacher shall have the option of having a mentor assigned to them for the balance of that school year. Benefit Trust Fund Pgs. 15-16, Article XXII(C) Benefit Trust Add the following as a new paragraph in between existing paragraph two and three: Effective July 1, 2017, the BOCES contribution shall be increased to nine hundred and seventy-five ($975) dollars per bargaining unit member. Effective July 1, 2018, the BOCES contribution shall be increased to one thousand ($1,000) dollars per bargaining unit member. Effective July 1, 2019, the BOCES contribution shall be increased to one thousand seventy-five ($1,075) dollars per bargaining unit member. Additional money for the Benefit Trust

Retirement Benefits Pg. 19, Article XXIII(E) Retirement Benefits Add the following as a new Section E: Effective upon ratification of this Agreement, regardless of hire date, eligibility for all of the benefits of Article XXIII shall be based only on consecutive years of full time service to BOCES, provided however, that if a unit member is involuntarily reduced from fulltime to part-time, their part-time service shall count as full-time service for purposes of Article XXIII only. Those unit members who are involuntarily laid-off shall not be considered to have a break in service for purposes of Article XXIII, but those years during which the unit member is not employed shall not count as years of service. New Language Members that have moved from the FTA or PTTA to the BTA months not calculated into years of service in regard to the BTA Retirement Incentive benefits.

Sabbatical Leave Pg. 22, Article XXVI(F) Sabbatical Leave Delete Section F. Delete language about sabbatical leave

Credit Hours Pg. 24, Article XXVIII(A) Credit Hours Replace the word recognized with accredited in the first sentence of Section A(1). Add the following in between the existing Sections A(2) and A(3) and re-number the remaining Sections accordingly: Unit members who opt to take additional graduate credit hours on-line shall be limited to nine (9) on-line graduate credit hours per school year. Unit members shall be limited to those on-line courses for which graduate credit is applicable. In addition, such on-line course must be offered by an accredited institution of higher learning and must provide a letter grade. Add the following as a new paragraph at the end of the Article: 7. The following definitions shall apply to this Article: Accredited shall be defined as an institution of higher learning which has been accredited by at least one of the six regional accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Graduate Credit shall be defined as a class for which graduate credit will be awarded by an accredited institution of higher education and indicated as such on an official transcript of the college/university. It shall be the responsibility of each member of the unit to ensure that any class for which they seek additional compensation is approved as a graduate class. All classes for which additional compensation is sought pursuant to this Article must have a letter grade. Conference Days Mr. Hecht has also added a third Superintendent s Conference Day into the BOCES Calendar. The date is November 8, 2016. He has also stated that he is looking into a couple of early dismissal days for students. We are still discussing what will be done on those days.

Health Insurance Pgs. 14-15, Article XXII(B) Health Insurance a.
