Direct Deposit Administration Direct Deposit Administration enables independent sales associates to setup and manage their own direct deposit information. Using Direct Deposit Administration, you are able to add, edit, and remove bank accounts used for direct deposit. Accessing Direct Deposit Admin for First Time Users Please follow the steps below: 1. Log into the NRT Gateway: https://www.nrtgateway.com 2. Once you have logged into the Gateway, click the Direct Deposit Enrollment button located on the home page. 3. You will be prompted to create a secure PIN number that you will use to access the site. Click the Create PIN link at the bottom of the screen. 3
4. Once you have clicked the Create PIN link, you will receive confirmation that an email has been sent to you with instructions on how to create your secure PIN number. 5. Click the link shown below to begin creating your PIN. 4
6. The Create Secure PIN window will display. Enter your desired PIN number into the New PIN field. Re-enter your new PIN number into the Confirm New PIN field. When finished, click the Create PIN button. NOTE: Be sure your PIN meets the specified PIN requirements. 5
Setting Up a New Bank Account Please follow the steps below: 1. You will be prompted to enter your PIN number that you created to access the Direct Deposit Admin screen. Once you have done so, you will be logged into Direct Deposit Admin. 2. Note that by default, Payment Type is set to Check. 3. Click the Edit button and select Create New Bank Account. 6
4. The screen will refresh and will now allow you the option of changing the Payment Option. Select Add New Bank Account. 5. The screen will refresh and will now display fields enabling you to enter your bank account information. Specify the account type (Checking or Savings), enter your bank transit (routing) number, and enter the bank account number. You are required to confirm the bank transit and bank account numbers by re-entering them. NOTE: The bank account name should auto populate based on the bank transit number that was entered. If it does not, you are required to manually enter the bank name. 7
6. You are required to certify that you authorize the listed account to be used for direct deposit by clicking the checkbox. 7. Once all required fields have been completed, click the Save button to record your entry. 8
8. Direct Deposit will now be displayed as the payment type and the bank account name and type will be displayed. NOTE: Status for new bank accounts will display as Pending Bank Approval. An Expected by date will be displayed. Once approval has been given, the status will change to Active. 9
Canceling an Existing Account To cancel the existing bank information: 1. Click Cancel next to the account you wish to change. 2. The bank account information status will be set to Pending Removal 3. The Payment Type will be changed to Check. 10
Modifying a Bank Account 1. A list of existing active bank account information will be displayed. 2. You will have the ability to select one of the listed existing bank account s information. 3. The Pre-Note Process is not required. 11
Pre-Note Process 1. The Pre-Note process does not need to be completed if the bank account being added was previously an active bank account within the past 30 days. 2. The Pre-Note process will be completed in 7 business days, if a failure is not returned by the bank. 3. If the Pre-Note fails, the Bank Account status will be changed to Pre-Note Failed. 4. An e-mail notification will be sent to you. 5. Changes made to the Pre-Note Failed bank account information will restart the Pre-Note process. 12
ACH (Direct Deposit) Failure 1. When an ACH fails the bank account status on the Direct Deposit Administration screen will be set to ACH Failed. 2. The Payment Type will be changed to Check. 13
