Our Warranties One Guarantee's comprehensive structural warranty schemes protect companies from inherent defects that take place within the structure of a building. These defects may occur within the rst 12 years of a buildings completion. One Guarantee has carefully devised 7 independent warranty schemes designed to address these defects. New Home Warranties: One Guarantee's New Homes Scheme is aimed speci cally at Housebuilders and Developers, providing your client with a 12-year insurance warranty as standard. Our New Home Warranties will protect future buyers of newly built homes from inherent structural defects. Completed Home Warranties: Owners of newly constructed, extended or refurbished houses do not always receive long-term security against the risks of latent defects. One Guarantee has formulated an extensive Completed Housing Warranty to address this. Commercial Warranties: One Guarantee's Commercial Warranty initiative works in partnership with commercial builders and developers who are involved with non-residential construction projects. Our commercial warranties cover non-residential buildings such as schools, care homes, industrial units, of ces, hotels and sports facilities. Mechanical & Electrical cover is also available for commercial developments. Self-Build Warranties: One Guarantee's Self-Build warranties offer far more comprehensive cover than Professional Constants Certi cates only providing cover for a maximum period of 6 years as opposed to the 12-year security offered by One Guarantee. Self-Build warranties are favoured by the majority of lenders because unlike Architects Certi cates our warranty products do not require proof of negligence to be established. Conversion Warranties: One Guarantee can provide warranties for conversion and renovation projects such as transforming commercial of ces into residential apartments. This cover will work alongside One Guarantee's comprehensive New Home Warranties meaning that cover can be provided for the full 12 years. Social Housing Warranties: One Guarantee's Social Housing Warranties are tailored speci cally for registered Social Landlords, Housing Associations and builders that are working on social developments either for part ownership or rental purposes. Mixed Development Warranties: One Guarantee's Mixed Development Warranties offer in-depth cover for developers looking to construct a variety of buildings for both residential and non-residential use. Our hybrid scheme caters for this increasingly popular sector of the market, combining the best elements of cover from our New Homes, Social Housing and Commercial schemes. 3

Why is a One Guarantee Warranty Needed? One Guarantee's comprehensive structural warranty schemes protect companies from inherent defects that take place within the structure of a building. One Guarantee has carefully devised 7 independent warranty schemes designed to address these defects. Why not a Collateral Warranty? Ÿ Collateral Warranties require proof of negligence of the liable third party this can be a costly and lengthy process. With a structural warranty no such requirements are necessary, if the defect is covered, the policy will respond Ÿ Collateral Warranties require Professional Indemnity insurance to be in place and remain so for the period of the warranty. If the developer/ contractor becomes insolvent during this time, Professional Indemnity cover ceases. Such insolvency matters are not an issue with a Structural Warranty Ÿ Structural warranties are fully assignable for an unlimited number of times throughout the lifetime of the warranty 4

Getting a Quote How can I apply for a quote? Obtaining a quotation from One Guarantee is refreshingly straightforward. One Guarantee will base your quotation on 3 main criteria: 1. The size and complexity of your development 2. Your credit rating and nancial security 3. Your Developer Rating How do I accept my quotation? Once you have reviewed and are happy with your quotation, please ll out and return the acceptance form located at the end of your quotation. Upon your instructions to incept cover, we will send you over your policy wording and policy schedule, detailing the cover purchased. We will also attach you invoice including details of your payment plan. 5
