North Peace Savings & Credit Union Terms & Conditions for Member Referral Program Last updated April 6, 2015 Please note that only one offer may be redeemed per new member. FOR NEW MEMBERS: $100 Offer These terms govern the $100 Cash Card promotion (the Promotion ). The Promotion is conducted by Central 1 Credit Union ( Central 1 ). Who Can Participate: be a resident of British Columbia (BC); be at least 17 years of age; not be a member of any credit union in BC; and not be an employee of a credit union in BC or a Subsidiary. For the purposes of this Promotion, a Subsidiary means a wholly owned subsidiary of a credit union in BC. How to Participate and get $100: 1. Get a Referral Card (the Card ) from an existing North Peace Savings & Credit Union member. 2. Become a new member and open an account with a minimum deposit of $100 at North Peace Savings & Credit Union. 3. Bring your Card with you when you open your credit union account on or before August 31, 2015 and give the Card to the North Peace Savings & Credit Union representative opening your account.
4. In order for Central 1 to deposit $100 into your credit union account, a North Peace Savings & Credit Union representative will need to email your name and account number to Central 1 and a confirmation that you opened an account with a minimum deposit of $100. When Central 1 receives the required information from North Peace Savings & Credit Union, Central 1 will deposit $100 into your credit union account. No purchase, payment or fee is required in order to participate in the Promotion. The Card can only be used once and redeemed at any North Peace Savings & Credit Union branch location It could take up to two weeks for the $100 to be deposited into your credit union account If the number on the back of the Card is illegible, the Card will be considered void You cannot sell, copy or reproduce the Card $200 Offer These terms govern the $200 Cash Card promotion (the Promotion ). Bring your Card with you when you open your credit union account on or before August 31, 2015, and give the Card to the North Peace Savings & Credit Union representative opening your account. 4. In order for Central 1 to deposit $200 into your credit union account, a North Peace Savings & Credit Union representative will need to email your name and account number to Central 1 and a confirmation that you opened an account set up with payroll or pension direct deposit, or transferred your business chequing account. When Central 1 receives the required information from North Peace Savings & Credit Union and confirmation, Central 1 will deposit $200 into your credit union account. No purchase, payment or fee is required in order to participate in the Promotion. The Card can only be used once and redeemed at any North Peace Savings & Credit Union branch location It could take anywhere between one to four weeks for the $200 to be deposited into your credit union account, depending on when your first paycheque or pension deposit appears in your account If the number on the back of the Card is illegible, the Card will be considered void You cannot sell, copy or reproduce the Card FOR EXISTING MEMBERS: Up to $100 Referral Per New Member These terms govern the $100 Member Referral promotion (the Promotion ). The Promotion is conducted by Central 1 Credit Union ( Central 1 ).
Who Can Participate: be a resident of British Columbia (BC); be at least 17 years of age; and be an existing member of North Peace Savings & Credit Union How to Participate and get $50 for new members you refer: 1. Give a Referral Card that you received via mail or your referral code to a friend or family member who does not currently belong to a BC credit union. Instruct your friend or family member to give your referral code to the North Peace Savings & Credit Union representative opening up their account. If you are not currently aware of your referral code, please contact marketing@npscu.ca. 2. When your friend or family member opens a new account with a minimum deposit of $100 and uses your referral code, the North Peace Savings & Credit Union representative will trace the code back to your account. $50 will then be credited to your account. 3. If your friend or family member opens a new account and sets up payroll or pension direct deposit, or completes a transfer of their business chequing account, you will receive an additional $50 credit for your successful referral. 4. In order for Central 1 to deposit up to $100 into your credit union account for each new member that you refer, a North Peace Savings & Credit Union representative will need to email your name and account number to Central 1. When Central 1 receives the required information from North Peace Savings & Credit Union, Central 1 will deposit the funds into your credit union account. No purchase, payment or fee is required in order to participate in the Promotion. You may refer up to 100 of your family members and friends and receive the referral bonus. If you refer over 100 of your family members and friends, you will not receive incentive bonuses after the first 100. It could take up to one week for the first $50 credit to be deposited into your credit union account, and up to four weeks for the second $50 credit to be deposited in the case that your referred friend sets up payroll or pension direct deposit. Privacy: By participating in the Promotion, you consent to Central 1 s collection, use and disclosure of your personal information (which includes your name and your credit union member account number) for the administration of the Promotion and in aggregated and anonymized form in order to create reports regarding Promotion entrant demographics, which reports Central 1 may disclose to other persons. Use of your personal information is subject to Central 1 s Privacy Policy.
Miscellaneous: These Terms are governed solely by the laws of British Columbia, Canada and applicable federal laws of Canada. Central 1 or North Peace Savings & Credit Union is not responsible or liable for: (a) erroneous, lost, late, illegible, incomplete or misdirected emails or Cards, or (b) any damage or loss arising from, connected with, or relating to the Promotion, regardless of the cause or any fault by Central 1, North Peace Savings & Credit Union or any person for whom Central 1 or North Peace Savings & Credit Union is responsible, and notwithstanding that any of those persons may have been advised of the possibility of the loss or damage being incurred. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, by participating in the Promotion, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Central 1 and North Peace Savings & Credit Union against all and any claims, losses, damages, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, obligations and costs arising out of or in connection with any breach by you of these Terms or your participation in the Promotion. If for any reason Central 1 determines, in its discretion, that the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as intended by Central 1, Central 1 may in its discretion withdraw, cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend all or any part of the Promotion. Central 1 may, in its discretion, change, supplement or amend these Terms and from time to time by posting amended Terms on hello@getyourshare.ca.
