Quarterly Credit Union Performance Report

We hope the third-quarter 2017 Credit Union Quarterly Performance Report for California and Nevada is a valuable resource as you continue to strategically plan for your credit union s next steps! Brought to you by the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues, this comprehensive report is created every quarter specifically for C-level executives, senior management, and board directors. It s one way we are equipping League members with the data they need to accurately benchmark their credit union s performance to others across the state. Included herein is information and data on: California, Nevada, and U.S. trends Industry demographic snapshots and growth rates Earnings, capital adequacy, and asset quality Asset/liability management, productivity, and structure 5-year breakdown Portfolio analysis This report is just one of multiple endeavors we are always fine-tuning to help you navigate the future, including local industry trends on loans, deposits and membership; expertise on economic trends, movement in the financial markets, and interest rate expectations; and regional economic forecasts and news. To access the Leagues most recent in-depth news coverage and analysis of an economic forecast in your region of California or Nevada, email Matt Wrye at mattw@ccul.org. The latest projections for California, Nevada and the United States show the overall economy is on solid footing going into 2018 and most likely 2019. In fact, a lack of labor to fill certain jobs is the real issue, as well as social, demographic, educational and wealth trends. However, our moderately-expanding economy may finally start to enter its last consecutive quarters of growth sometime in the foreseeable future, some experts forewarn. The Leagues chief economist, Dwight Johnston, is here to help. To receive Dwight s daily commentary and routine Economix updates, visit www.ccul.org and look for D.J. s Economix under the Resources tab! Questions? Contact Rick Stanton at rstanton@ccul.org. Thank you for your membership in the League!
