HEALTH INSURANCE students are obliged to pay contributions to health insurance at the price of approx. 430kn per month. students need to have insurance from the countries they are coming from. If the students do not have insurance from their countries, the law prescribes that they must retroactively pay for a period of 12 months up to a maximum of 5064 kn. VISA All students from India need to issue entry visa in order to get in Croatia All of this can be done in your nearest Croatian Embassy. In case that Embassy requires some documents from the University, please contact University representative
PROCEDURE FOR TEMPORARY STAY PERMIT students need to go through temporary residence permit procedure. It will start right upon arrival to Dubrovnik, Under this procedure you will need to visit Tax administration office, police office, the local bank. Please note: TRP get issued for a max period of one Year Each year you will need to renew. STEPS ON THE NEXT SLIDE:
1. Go to tax administration office where you need to issue a OIB NUMBER - personal identification number. You need to bring: - your original passport as well as bring - copy of your passport (1st page) - fill in one form (they give you) Please note: After you submit all documents, you can pick up your OIB number the day after the submitting. 2. After that, you go to the police office to apply for the temporary stay permit procedure. You need to bring: - copy of the registration form from your landlords (all landlords should register you upon your arrival and give you the form confirmation!) - your original passport as well as bring - copy of your passport - fill in the forms they give you in the police office - bank letter confirmation of the deposit (you'll get it in the bank and bring it to the police office later on) - university letter (we'll give you) - copy of the personal identification number (you'll get in the tax administration office) - health insurance (copy the health insurance from home). - 1 biometric photo (30 x 35 mm) can be done only in Croatia (it can be done in the police office). The price is 50 kn. 3. Go to the bank to open a Croatian bank account and deposit 1.000kn per each month (at once), for example, if you'll spend 9 months in Croatia, you'll need to deposit 9.000kn at once. You need to bring: - your original passport - personal identification number (OIB) which you get in Tax administration office - amount of money In the bank, you'll get an official letter from the bank - confirmation of your deposit. After you get the letter from bank, you need to bring it to the police office to complete all documentation. After that, you can withdraw the amount or be using it during the period of staying in Croatia.< Please note: After you submit all above mentioned documents to the bank, you can pick up the bank letter the next day. The price of the letter is approx. 20 kn. The price of getting the temporary stay permit is 350 kn + 240 kn (getting the card) + 70kn tax stamps= 660 kn altogether. You need to pay this amount approx. one month after you bring all the above mentioned documents to the police office. Please note: the temporary residence card will be issued 2 months after submitting of all documentation.
