Grant Type B: Capacity Building Prpsals We chse t invest in the infrastructure f rganizatins that deliver valuable services t the cmmunity. An attractive candidate fr this type f investment is a grup that shws lng term, high prmise where enhanced capacity and sustainability will create increased human gain. Prpsals shuld fcus n the needs f the rganizatin that will strengthen its ability t achieve its missin. Please prvide cncise and clear answers t the fllwing questins: 1. Grant Prpsal C: Capital Grant Prpsals The Fundatin will cnsider funding capital campaigns r building renvatins. A capital request is a prpsal fr funds t cnstruct a new facility, renvate r add t yur current facility, r purchase and/r renvate anther existing facility fr use by yur rganizatin. Requests t supprt the purchase f general equipment als fall int this categry. As an investr, we view every capital grant applicatin in terms f the ways in which the imprvement yu seek can enhance yur ability t achieve strnger results fr thse yu serve. We want t knw hw the imprvement will be used t increase efficiency r effectiveness in yur rganizatin. Please prvide cncise and clear answers t the fllwing questins: 1. What is the capital imprvement yu want t make? (Be specific in such terms as kinds f equipment, square feet f space, etc. Please d nt send blueprints r specificatins.
