INTRODUCTION THIS GUIDE PROVIDES INFORMATION ON THE FUND CHOICES SPECIFIC TO YOUR PLAN. YOU ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO A STANDARD RANGE OF FUNDS WHICH IS EXPLAINED IN YOUR GUIDANCE ON YOUR FUND CHOICES. This guide sets out the additional investment choices which are available to you. To see all of your options, please read this guide alongside the Guidance on your fund choices. Now you are a member of the plan, you can see how and where your plan is invested at any time. You may or may not be comfortable with making or reviewing your own investment decisions on a day to day basis. There are different options available depending on how much involvement you want and they are described in the following sections. If you re not comfortable with making investment decisions you should seek help from a financial adviser. You will be charged for any financial advice you receive. YOUR INVESTMENT CHOICES It is important to remember that when your plan was transferred into the retirement saver you remained in the investment strategy that applied at that time. You were not automatically invested in the Zurich Passive Interim Lifestyle Strategy (the default). As a member you can choose to invest in: your existing strategy the standard investment options the scheme specific lifestyle the Zurich Open Range You can also choose a combination of the above options. Depending on the investments you choose, the levels of risk and potential investment performance differ. 3
THE SCHEME SPECIFIC LIFESTYLE STRATEGY The scheme specific lifestyle strategy you can choose to invest in is the Default DVV Lifestyle. THE ZURICH OPEN RANGE You also have the option to choose from the Zurich Open Range, available to view by logging in to your plan website and accessing the Investment choices and charges document in your member library. The standard range of investments are available and you can find more about these here.
