AUGUST 4, 2018 SAM S TOWN LIVE! THEATRE 5111 Boulder Highway at Flamingo 6 PM Buffet and bar service 7 PM Miss El Tiempo and Miss Teen El Tiempo Nevada Pageant Presented by El Tiempo, Southern Nevada s largest Hispanic publication and powered by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Miss El Tiempo Nevada and Miss Teen El Tiempo Nevada pageants are official preliminaries to the Miss Nevada USA competitions of the Miss USA and Miss Universe organizations. This unique opportunity is presented for young women throughout Nevada who identify as Latina to let their belleza shine! Contestants compete in three categories as established by the Miss USA organization: interview and evening gown, along with swimsuit for Miss contestants and activewear for Miss Teen contestants. Following the Miss Nevada USA competition, winners go on to represent El Tiempo and the Las Vegas Review-Journal at special and sponsored events throughout the year. To comply with the Miss USA organization rules, the pageant and events are conducted in English.
Due to popular demand, the Miss El Tiempo pageant moves this year to Sam's Town Live!, the cutting-edge performance venue located inside Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall. Added for pageant guests will be reserved seating for buffet and bar service as well as general admission seating. Sam's Town Live! has hosted such headline entertainers as Boyz II Men, Maja, Kenny Loggins, Aaron Neville, and The Killers, along with such pageants as Mrs. Nevada America and Miss National Cover Girl.
Diana Cervantes-Adams Miss El Tiempo Nevada 2018 Diana is a pre-med/biology student at UNLV. She won Best Swimsuit at the Miss Nevada USA 2018 pageant. Catherine Mosquera Miss El Tiempo Teen Nevada 2018 Catherine is a sophomore at Liberty High School, Las Vegas. She won Miss Photogenic at the Miss Teen Nevada USA 2018 pageant. Miss El Tiempo Nevada and Miss Teen El Tiempo Nevada is produced and directed by Robert Danielson. A long-time production consultant with Miss Florida, America; Miss St. Petersburg; and Miss Pinellas County; as well as a frequent judge of the Miss Florida, America qualifying pageants, Danielson produced and directed the inaugural Miss El Tiempo pageant. To comply with rules of the Miss USA and Miss Universe organizations, the pagaent and events are conducted in English.
