Based in Kuching, he has extensive working experiences in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and London serving international and local clients. Sim Kwang Gek Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Tax Leader Kwang Gek has over 19 years of experience in providing tax and business consulting services and currently leads the M & A tax practice in Malaysia. She has been involved in various assignments such as restructuring of operations, mergers and acquisitions, incentive evaluation and applications, inbound and cross border investments and has led the Malaysian M & A tax practice to be recognised as Tier 1 Tax Transactional Firm by International Tax Review 2015. Kane Bong Senior Tax Manager Kane is a Senior Tax Manager in Deloitte based at Kuching. He is a Chartered Accountant registered under Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), a member with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an approved GST Tax Agent by MoF (01/1700/05/2017). He has been actively involved in various GST implementation and advisory assignments for local companies and MNCs encompassing industries such as education, plantation, manufacturing, construction, trading, travel industry, livestock and services. Cheong Yit Hui Tax Manager Yit Hui has over 6 years of experience in handling Malaysian corporate and personal taxation, tax audit and investigation, and application of tax incentives for companies.
