HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE Homeowners insurance provides coverage for damage or loss to your home and personal belongings from fire, lighting, windstorms, hail, explosions, smoke, vandalism and theft. This may include not only the components of the home, but personal belongings as well. Homeowner s claims are resolved or settled by repair, restoration or replacement of your property that was damaged, lost or stolen. DID YOU KNOW? Homeowners insurance is generally required by lenders as a condition of the mortgage to protect the lender s interest.
