ANZIIF Broking Studies
YOUR INDUSTRY. YOUR PARTNER. Established more than 130 years ago, the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) provides tailored education, membership and professional development to brokers and other insurance professionals. Recognising that brokers are hands-on and quickly gain their experience in the field, ANZIIF aims to build on this knowledge with a range of innovative education modules. Skills-based units allow you and your staff to develop the specific competencies your business requires in a practical, short-form style that enables you to maximise time in the office while learning information that is applicable to your day-to-day work. Educational content has been developed in consultation with senior broking professionals in New Zealand and Australia to ensure that it is relevant to your situation. Take the next step at www.anziif.com A new way of learning Newly developed ANZIIF Skills Units expand the training opportunities available to brokers and allow them to focus on the areas of business they wish to develop. With the flexibility to study where and when best suits, units are delivered online and most can be completed in as little as five weeks (comprising four weeks of learning and one week of assessment per unit). Units are built around case-based interactive scenarios that are directly applicable to the workplace. At the conclusion of each unit, learning is assessed through the application of knowledge to real-world scenarios that reflect situations commonly experienced by brokers. Brokers can take ANZIIF Skills Units as standalone short courses, or if desired, units can be combined to attain a formal qualification, such as the Diploma of Insurance Broking.
Why study with ANZIIF? A formal qualification shows clients that your business is committed to keeping up the skills and knowledge required to provide clients with superior advice and service. Completing a Diploma of Insurance Broking, or staying up to date with individual ANZIIF Skills Units, sets you apart from other brokers in the industry without qualifications something that discerning customers are increasingly looking for when choosing a trusted advisor. ANZIIF Skills Units have been designed to be applied directly to the workplace. The interactive nature of the learning and assessment provides experience with situations brokers face every day, allowing you to provide superior outcomes for your clients. Collaboration in 2015 saw ANZIIF become NIBA s preferred supplier of broker education, the closure of NIBA College and the transfer of existing students to ANZIIF s broking studies. This education partnership allows both organisations to focus on excellence in broking education standards. Together, we have over 160 years of insurance education experience, enabling ANZIIF to give brokers access to the very best studies available in the market.
