MASTERCARD WORLD CURRENCY CARD CARDHOLDER GUIDE Let s get forex done Bidvest Bank Limited (Reg No 2000/006478/06) is a licensed financial services and registered credit provider. NCRCP17. August 2018

Thank you for choosing the Bidvest Bank Mastercard World Currency Card (WCC) Please read this important guide to ensure that you get the most benefit from your card and to ensure that you get the right assistance while travelling. Please also note that the use of your card is subject to Exchange Control regulations, transaction limits, and certain restrictions applicable to merchant categories, e.g. internet gambling and sanctioned countries. Key contact details for all your queries: Calling from South Africa 0800 982 679 Calling from any other country +44 203 788 1638 Any email correspondence cardservices@worldcurrencycard.co.za

The information in this guide is structured in four sections: 1 What to do before you leave 2 Using your card while travelling 3 What to do when you return to SA 4 How to register for My Account access

1 BEFORE YOU LEAVE Sign the back of your cards and memorise the PINs (Note: each card has a different pin.) Register your cards on the My Account website. Refer to the MY ACCOUNT section in this guide for full details. Download the World Currency Card TM Mobile App from your App Store, either https://itunes.apple.com/za/app/world-currency-card-frombidvest-bank/id1026864485?mt=8 or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=coza.bidvestbank. bidvest&hl=en Make the necessary arrangements if you think you may need to load more funds ( Reload ) while you are away. See the details under How can I Reload my card if I need additional funds. Ensure that you take both cards when you travel abroad (keep these cards in separate places as a backup in case of theft or loss). These cards are issued to you personally and the additional card is not for use by any other person. Note: Both of your cards are active once issued so you don t need to call the Bank to activate them.

2 WHILE TRAVELLING OUTSIDE SOUTH AFRICA Where can I use my card and for what type of transactions? You can make purchases and withdrawals wherever Mastercard is accepted but not in the Common Monetary Area (CMA), which includes South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland and Namibia. Other countries may be blocked from time to time due to sanctions. Please refer to the list of restricted countries at: www.worldcurrencycard.co.za You can also make purchases online from any merchant not located in the CMA or a sanctioned country. Note: If you use your card to secure a hotel, car rental or other travel booking, the merchant will authorise an amount upfront and the funds will be reserved for up to 30 days. To avoid this scenario, please consider using another card for the booking and your WCC to make the actual payment on check-out. How do I transfer funds between currencies? How can I reload my card if I need additional funds? You can reload up to your annual Single Discretionary Limit of R1 million using the following options: Corporate clients: Power of Attorney authorised company signatories can nominate someone in your company to reload funds at a Bidvest Bank branch, on your behalf, by completing a Power of Attorney form; or Authorise the Bidvest Bank branch to reload funds on your instruction, by completing a Power of Attorney form. Individual clients using the Platinum card: Online Forex Ordering this is available via the Bank s website: https://bbsvcs.bidvestbank.co.za/prod/ OnlineOrdering/Default.aspx; or Power of Attorney you can nominate a friend or family member to reload funds at a Bidvest Bank branch, on your behalf, by completing a Power of Attorney form. You can transfer funds from the currencies that you initially loaded to any of the 17 available currencies via the App and My Account. Remember that this will incur a purse-to-purse transfer fee. Refer to the fee details in this guide.

How can I check my transactions and currency balances? You can view balances and transaction details for all currencies you have loaded using the following options: World Currency Card App My Account website Call +44 203 788 1638 Note: If you request a balance enquiry at a foreign ATM, it will not show the balance per currency and the amount may be converted to USD or another currency. You will also be charged a fee by the ATM operator and the relevant fee in this guide. What if my cards are lost or stolen? If you lose the main card call +44 203 788 1638. You can still use the backup card but remember to check the PIN number as each card has its own PIN. If both your cards are lost or stolen, call +44 203 788 1638. We can deliver a replacement card or we can send emergency cash to you via a participating emergency cash provider (subject to availability of service and sufficient funds available on your card). What if I forget my PIN? To retrieve your PIN: Call +44 203 788 1638 and follow the IVR prompts; or Login to My Account and select PIN REVEAL under Account Summary. What if my card is declined? Transactions can be declined for a few reasons, for example: Your available balance in all currencies is not sufficient to cover the transaction amount. The transaction amount exceeds the daily withdrawal limit or daily purchase limit. Please refer to the section on LIMITS in this guide. The ATM operator has set a withdrawal limit that is lower than the amount you requested. Transactions may also be declined due to suspected fraud. If you are unsure of the reason, please call +44 203 788 1638. How do I dispute a transaction that I did not perform? If you see a transaction that you did not perform, call +44 203 788 1638 immediately and we will assist you to lodge a formal dispute. If the transaction is due to fraud, your card will be suspended but you may be able to use the backup card. How does currency conversion work? Transactions will be debited to the relevant currency that you have loaded on your card. For example: If you only load USD and do a transaction in USD, it will be debited on a 1:1 basis and reduce the available balance by the transaction amount. If you only load USD and do a transaction in GBP, the transaction amount will be converted from GBP to USD and the Currency Conversion Fee will be charged.

If you load more than one currency, the transaction will be debited to the first available currency in a preset order, i.e. USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, THB, CAD, ARS, BRL, INR, CNY, ILS, AED, MUR, SAR, JPY, CHF, NZD. If the transaction amount exceeds the available balance of the first available currency, the remaining amount will be debited to the next currency and so on. Each time a transaction amount is converted to a different currency, the Currency Conversion Fee will apply. Very Important: Always choose to pay in the local currency if presented with a choice at an ATM or PoS device and decline any offer to convert to your currency / home currency to avoid paying an additional currency conversion fee. This is subject to sufficient funds being available. If you choose to convert the amount to the home currency as shown in the ATM picture below, there will be two exchange rate conversions the first is from the currency of the country to USD and the second is from the USD amount to the purse currency/ies that are debited. To avoid the additional unnecessary exchange rate conversion/s and related fees, always opt to pay in the local currency or select the option Continue without conversion. Do I qualify for any special offers? With your Mastercard World Currency Card you have access to the Priceless Cities Programme; from dining, shopping and sports to exciting attractions, travel and entertainment offers. For more details please visit www.priceless.com What Insurance is available? Platinum World Currency Card holders also qualify for the following: Purchase protection against damage or theft of qualifying card purchases for up to 90 days from date of purchase; and ATM robbery insurance for cash stolen within 15 minutes of being withdrawn or money forced to withdraw under threat of violence. This cover is not applicable to the Corporate World Currency Card. For full details, please refer to the policy document on the Bidvest Bank website at https://www.bidvestbank.co.za/downloadfile. aspx?id=67
