GENERAL ABOUT I-LEND 1. What is i-lend? www.i-lend.in is a Social /P2P Lending Market place on the Internet. It brings people who need money and people who have money to invest together and enables a loan between them. 2. Is i-lend a financial institution? No, i-lend is not a financial institution. It is a marketplace that brings together borrowers and investors to enable a transaction between them on their terms. 3. Is i-lend regulated? i-lend is like ebay for money or like a facebook for investing and borrowing. It is a market place on the internet. Since i-lend doesn't borrow or invest money it does not come under the purview of RBI. i-lend is providing a service to people. 4. How does i-lend work? People who need money for personal need register as borrowers with i-lend and fill in the registration form. All the information provided has to be accurate and up to date. Once you register, you will receive a phone call confirming your interest and our credit verification team is alerted. After your information is verified you can than fill in your other details. Please note it is not i-lend s responsibility to get you a loan. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you build your profile sufficiently strong so that investors offer you a loan. Additional information such as your family background, financial status, recommendations, and employment details will help attract investors to your listing. You can request loans from ` 25,000 - ` 3,00,000 but to a large extent, your loan request has to be backed by your ability to repay. Once your loan listing is active you can see investors bidding to give you a loan for the full amount or a part amount of the loan you requested. Wait till your loan amount is fully subscribed and agree to the terms or request better terms. Similarly, investors can place offers on the listing page indicating the amount they want to invest and the minimum returns expected. Both investors and borrowers can search listings and send requests to specific individuals based on information provided. The listing is closed only once the borrower has received funding and the loan transaction is closed when the borrower receives the money in his account. Documentation and related transactions for borrowers and investors is handled by i-lend.

5. What is required to join i-lend? To join i-lend, individuals must meet the following criteria: Minimum Age: 21 Years Nationality: Indian with Indian Citizenship Status Users should have a valid Savings Bank Account 6. Why are loans on i-lend cheaper? i-lend business model, works on a peer-to-peer concept. We let investors and borrowers agree on terms of the transaction. This means, the interest rates are determined by the borrowers and investors and not i-lend. i-lend only charges a fixed transaction fee. Unlike banks, we do not make any money over the difference, in lending or borrowing rates. What's more i-lend brings down operation costs, by using the internet as a platform to connect with investors and borrowers. All transactions are done online and hence we do not have high capital expenditure such as people, cost at various locations and the infrastructure costs associated with this. This lowers our operation costs by a significant value which we pass on to our customers. 7. How much does all of this cost? I-lend charges minimal transaction fee for the services it offers. Borrowers are charged 3.5% of the loan amount or `1,000, whichever is higher as processing fee while investors pay 2% of the investment amount or `750 whichever is higher, as service charges. For example, if you receive a `25,000 loan, the processing fee is `1,000 and if you receive a loan of `60,000 processing fee is `2,100. If you are an investor and have invested say `10,000, then you are charged ` 750 and if you invest say `40,000, then you are charged an amount of `800. 8. Do you share my personal information with other parties? No information about borrowers or investors is shared with any third parties. Information is shared only for purposes of transactions with the borrowers and investors. Only necessary information such as loan requirements, purpose, employment status and details, educational background etc. is shared on the site between the borrowers and investors for making informed decisions. Please refer to Privacy & Security for more details. 9. What happens if i-lend closes? In the event of i-lend closing, all loans that have originated through i-lend still hold good. This is because; the agreements are still legal and are signed directly between the borrowers and investors. Our backend team will continue to collect the money from the borrowers and give it to the investors. Legal action is possible against borrower defaults.

10. From where does i-lend operate? Can borrowers or investors be from anywhere in India to borrow or invest? i-lend is headquartered in Hyderabad, India. We are currently operational in Hyderabad and will shortly start Pune operations. We plan to go national soon, with our presence in top 20 cities in India. Investors can be from anywhere in India while borrowers should be from Hyderabad, at this point of time. BORROWER 1. Who is a borrower? A borrower is an individual who has registered with us to borrow money from the pool of registered investors on i-lend. A borrower must be a resident of India and above the age of 21 years. 2. What are the eligibility criteria to become a borrower on i-lend? To borrow on i-lend, individuals must be residents of India and at least 21 years old with a valid bank account, income and identity proof. All registered borrowers have to go through our verification process successfully and must agree to comply with i-lend s borrowers agreement. 3. How does the borrowing process work? When you as a borrower are successfully registered, your listing page appears on the Borrower Listing Page. Investors can then see your listing and make offers to you depending on their investment criteria. All investor offers can be seen under borrowers' Listing page. A borrower may receive offers from many investors and i-lend's built-in system intelligence picks up the best offers for the borrower, depending on the lowest interest rates being offered. This process is done in real-time and hence during the period of your listing being active, the best rates being offered is picked up by the system. Similarly, borrowers can reach out to particular investors to request loans from them. An investor may either accept this or reject. This information can be viewed by the borrower under borrower's "My Account--> My Listings" section. Borrowers can receive many offers during their listing period. Once a borrower accepts the loan amount during his active listing period, the listing is closed for further offers. i-lend then, collect all necessary documents, execute the required agreements and collect cheques from investors and deposits in the borrower accounts. 4. what is the maximum loan amount I can borrow? Borrowers can request loans from `25,000 - `3,00,000. Loan amount must be in multiples of 5,000 only. 5. What is the tenure of loans on i-lend? Borrowers can borrow money for a minimum of 6 months and maximum of 36 months (3 years). The loan period must be in multiple of 6 months only.

6. What is a Screen Name? How do I get a Screen Name? Your screen name is your identity on i-lend. Investors and other borrowers will recognise you by this name. You can create your screen name at the time of registration. 7. Can I get my loan from more than one investor? Yes, in fact it is most likely that you will receive loans from multiple investors. 8. In how much time will my loan request be approved and funded? Once borrowers have posted their loan requirements, the listings are open for investors to make offers for a period of 15 continuous days. If a borrower gets his total loan amount within this time, he can close his listing. In case he does not get the complete loan amount, he can either take the amount received through the offers till date or extend his listing period by another 7 continuous days. 9. What if my loan is not fully funded when my listing ends? Can I relist my loan and try again? If your listing ends before the loan is fully funded, then you can either withdraw the amount received or extend your listing period by another 7 days. However, at the end of these 7 days if you do not receive the total loan amount, then you can withdraw the amount received or re-list your loan by registering again through the portal. Please note that if you re-list within 30 days from the date of closing your earlier listing, you are not required to go through the verification process again. 10. What happens if I have received the loan amount but have not submitted the loan for closure? If you have received the loan amount partially or 100% and have not submitted the loan before the listing expiry, you will lose the loan. Since investors spend considerable amount of time understanding borrowers and the amount they would like to invest, it is unfair if borrowers do not close their loan. In such case, i-lend excludes such borrowers from any future transactions with them on i-lend. 11. Can my loan amount be changed when my listing is active? No, you cannot change your loan amount once you have filled your loan requirement form. However, if you choose to re-list, you can change the terms of loan including the amount. 12. How is my interest rate determined? Borrower interest rates are determined by the investor market. All registered borrowers are verified for their financial status, employment, stay etc and only on successful verification; this information is shared with the investors. To understand the profile of a borrower, i-lend offers tips to lenders (see Returns & Fees for more) that are a guidance tool for taking informed decisions. Each individual investor then offers loan to borrowers at the interest rate that he thinks is ideal, for a certain profile of a borrower. The interest rates for each investor may vary. However, when determining

the final interest rate for a borrower, the system picks up the best offer in terms of lowest interest rates in ascending order for a particular borrower loan. The final interest rate is the weighted average of the best loans offered. 13. When do I get the loan amount? Once your loan is closed, it will take up to 3-5 working days for us to collect the money from investors and transfer it into your account. 14. When do my interest charges begin? If your loan amount is transferred before 15 th of the month, then you must pay interest for the full month. However, if the loan amount is transferred after the 15 th, then you will be charged interest only for the fifteen days of this month. 15. When should I start repaying the loan amount? EMIs should be paid by the 7 th of every month. If your loan closure date is after 20 th of a month, then your EMI starts from the month after next and your first EMI will include interest charges for the additional ten days. For example, if your loan was closed on the 21 st of January, then your EMI payment starts from March. However, the March EMI will also include the interest for the remainder days of January. 16. Can I have more than one loan at a time? No, you cannot have a second loan while you are still paying the first one. 17. How can I make loan payments? Can I pay online? You can repay your loan by making payments through cheque. Online payment option is currently unavailable. 18. Can I prepay my loan? You can prepay your loan at anytime during the period. There is no penalty for pre-closure. However, the following conditions must be met for partial or full pre-payment of your loan: Partial prepayment can be done after paying at least one EMI. Prepayment of loans allows borrower to reduce the loan tenure but not the EMI amount. 19. How much does i-lend charge me? i-lend charges a transaction fee of 3.5% of the loan amount or `1,000 whichever is higher.

20. When should I pay the transaction fee to i-lend? Once a borrower loan is closed, the transaction fee is collected at the time of executing the loan agreement. This money is collected from you through a cheque in favor of Dipamkara Web Ventures Pvt. Ltd. INVESTOR 1. Who is an Investor? An investor is an individual who invests money in borrowers on i-lend. He / she must be resident of India and above the age of 21 years. 2. What are the eligibility criteria to become an investor on i-lend? Investors can then browse borrower listings and invest in them, depending on their investment criteria. Investors can decide the investment amount and interest rate at which they would like to invest in the borrowers. However, i-lend's built-in system intelligence selects the best offers for the borrower depending on the lowest interest rates being offered by participating investors. This process is done in real-time and hence during the period of borrower listing being active, the best rates being offered is chosen by the system. Similarly, borrowers can browse investor listing page and make requests for loans from you. You can either accept or reject these requests. This information can be viewed by the investors in their listing page. Investors can make offers only when the borrower listing is active, i.e. until the expiry of the listing. However, the minimum amount you need to invest in a borrower is `5,000. 8. When is a loan transaction complete? A loan transaction is complete only after a borrower has received and accepted the loan offers that are less than or equal to his loan amount. His listing then shows a status "CLOSED." 9. When does the money go out of my account? Once a loan transaction is closed by the borrower, the money is collected from the lender within 3-5 working days. 10. Can I change the amount of money I want to lend through i-lend after I have committed initially? No, currently this option is not available. However, you can add more amount to your investment through the "My Account" section. 12. Can I change or cancel an already committed borrower loan? You can change your commitment on a particular borrower loan. However, you cannot cancel your loan offer. 13. One of my borrower's listing page does not include my investment amount anymore? Why? Since the system picks up the best offers i.e. lowest interest rate that are available to a borrower on a real time basis, it is quite possible that your offer is no longer competitive. Hence, your investment amount is not included. However, if you are keen to invest in a particular borrow; you can re-invest in them with a new offer. 14. I have a few questions for a borrower. Can I get in touch with him? Does I-lend guarantee repayment of loans? i-lend does not guarantee the repayment of borrower loans as all loans offered are unsecured. However, we have a strict verification policy thereby bringing down the number of likely defaults. i-lend also has a strict recovery policy in case of defaults. Investors are also encouraged to understand the borrower better by asking various questions regarding the loan purpose, repayment capability and the borrower s background. 25.
