Beginning July 1st, all Southeast FCU accounts will have been converted to Peach State FCU accounts. At that time, members will have complete access to all of Peach State s products and services, including the use of any of our convenient branches. After June 15th June 29th June 30th July 2nd Account Numbers All credit union members will be assigned a new account number. You will receive a letter with your new account number after June 15th. BillPay and Online Banking Access to Southeast s BillPay and Online Banking will be turned off around 2:00 p.m. System Conversion All Southeast branches will be closed. You may continue to use your Southeast VISA Debit Card. During the system conversion there may be times when your VISA Debit Card cannot be processed due to temporary limits or connectivity. We recommend you have sufficient cash for the weekend prior to branch closing on Friday, June 29th. Account Access You can enroll in Peach State s Online Banking, Telephone Banking (MemberLine), estatements and BillPay. You will be able to enroll in Peach State s Mobile Banking and apply for Mobile Check Deposit. Contact the Call Center at 855.889.4328 or stop by your local branch. 4
All members account numbers will change. You will receive a separate letter informing you of your new account number. Your two-digit suffix(es) may change. Each deposit and loan account type (i.e., Savings Account, Club Account) will have a unique suffix that will be shown on your account. This will be reflected on your July statement, which will be mailed to you in early August. When making a deposit, you will need to include your account number for the account you want to be credited. You will need to use your new account number beginning July 1st. Dual Account Number If you currently have both Southeast and Peach State accounts, your accounts will not be combined upon conversion. You will have separate Peach State account numbers following the June 30th conversion. If you wish to combine these accounts into one account, please visit a Peach State branch after July 2nd or contact us at 855.889.4328. Routing Numbers The 253285012 Southeast routing number is now associated with the name Peach State FCU. If you make a payment by phone or online (i.e., utility bill), you will hear or see the number referred to as Peach State FCU now or in the future as companies update their systems. As you schedule payments after July 1st, it is a great time to update the routing number to Peach State s routing number 261174759. Direct Deposits, Account Transfers, Payroll and ACH Deductions Direct Deposits, Payroll Deductions and ACH Deductions will continue to post to your account as they are currently set up. If you would like to set up automatic transfers, you can do so through Peach State s Online Banking at www.peachstatefcu.org after July 1st. All Southeast Simple Checking and Bonus Checking Accounts will be converted to Peach State s Basic Checking Accounts. This account does not require any minimum balance, does not earn dividends and there are no monthly fees. All Southeast VIP Checking Accounts will be converted to Peach State s CU60 Checking Accounts. This account does not require any minimum balance, does not earn dividends and there are no monthly fees. You may order one standard box of checks per calendar year at no charge. Peach State also offers a Premium Checking Account which pays dividends. This account requires a minimum daily balance of $1,000 in order to avoid a monthly service charge. If your balance falls below $1,000 at any time during the month, you will pay the monthly service charge; however you would still earn your dividends. If you are interested in this account, please contact us after July 2nd. Checks You may continue to use your Southeast checks until they run out. When it is time to reorder, please take your reorder form to your nearest Peach State branch location for processing, as your new checks will have a different routing number. If you do not order your checks through Peach State, please note that it is necessary to update the name of the credit union on the check to Peach State Federal Credit Union, and the routing number (R/T) to 261174759 prior to re-ordering. Overdraft Protection The overdraft protection options you currently have set up on your Southeast account will continue with Peach State. Courtesy Pay Your courtesy pay limits will remain the same. Debit Cards You will continue to use your Southeast VISA Debit Cards. The month prior to your card expiration month, you will receive a new Peach State VISA Debit Card. If you would like a Peach State VISA Debit Card prior to your card expiration you can visit any of our branch locations to order an updated card. Automatic Debit Payments Any automatic payments you have set up with your Southeast VISA Debit Card (such as Amazon, utilities, insurance, etc.), will continue to be processed. When you receive your Peach State VISA Debit Card, you will need to update your payment source with any company you have an automatic payment established with. The Southeast VISA Debit Card will be closed once your new Peach State VISA Debit Card is activated. 6
Primary Share Accounts The minimum balance required in your primary share account will remain $25. If your account falls below the $25 minimum balance during the month, a $5 minimum balance fee will be charged to your account. Club Accounts Christmas Club there will not be any withdrawal restrictions on this account. The account balance will be transferred to your Savings Account on October 31st. Vacation Club there will not be any withdrawal restrictions on this account. The account balance will no longer transfer to your Savings Account on June 1st of each year. Money Market Accounts Southeast s Money Market Accounts will be transferred to Peach State s Money Market Accounts. There is a $2,500 minimum balance requirement. If your balance goes below the $2,500 during the month, the account will be charged a $10 minimum balance fee. If you exceed more than 6 withdrawals/transfers per month, there will be a $10 excessive transaction fee charged. Below you will find the tiers for the Money Market Accounts. Dividends are posted monthly to the account. Our current rates can be found on our website at www.peachstatefcu.org. Tier 1 $0-$9,999.99 Tier 3 $25,000-$99,999.99 Tier 2 $10,000-$24,999.99 Tier 4 $100,000 and over Certificates of Deposit Your Southeast Certificate will be invested in a Peach State Certificate at the same rate and for the same time remaining as you had with Southeast. Upon maturity, you will receive a maturity notice. You will have 10 days to redeem it or the certificate will rollover to the same term and the rate will change to that which is in effect as of the date of maturity. Please note, Peach State s minimum for a Certificate of Deposit is $1,000. As a result, if your certificate is less than $1,000 upon maturity, the balance will be transferred to your Savings 7
Account. You may reinvest the certificate after maturity with additional funds. Dividends will be posted to all certificates on the last day of every month. The suffix number for your loan account may be different after the system conversion. You will be able to identify your loan by the loan description that will be displayed on your statement. The terms of your loan contract including payment amount, payment due date and length of term will remain the same. In the future, you will be able to make your loan payment from your credit union savings or checking account, over the phone via MemberLine, online or in person. If you don t already have an automated payment set up and would like to take advantage of this convenience, simply contact us after July 1st at 855.889.4328. If you have an active loan with Southeast, please be advised that credit bureau reports after July 1st will show your loan as account transferred or sold and will be reported as a loan with Peach State. If you have a loan at another financial institution, give us a call. Chances are you could refinance and save! Payment Protection If you currently have credit life/credit disability with your Southeast loan, your coverage will continue under Peach State s plan. Auto Loans If you currently have GAP coverage it will continue as-is. VISA account holders will receive additional correspondence in regards to this conversion closer to this date. Until this conversion takes place, you will not be able to see your VISA Credit Card when using Online Banking. Online Banking Southeast s Online Banking system will not be available after 2:00 p.m. on June 29th. History on the new system will only include transactions from July 1st on. Since you will no longer have access to your online account history prior to July 1st, you may want to download and/or print your account history. Scheduled transfers for June 29th and June 30th may not be completed due to this conversion. On July 2nd, please register for Online Banking at www.peachstatefcu.org. To register for Online Banking, have your account number, social security number, email address and zip code ready. 1. Go to www.peachstatefcu.org. On the homepage under Online Banking Login, click on the link to Enroll. 2. This will bring you to the Welcome to Online Banking screen. Enter your NEW Peach State account number and last 4 digits of the primary member s social security number. Click Enter. 3. From this point, simply follow the instructions as you are guided through the registration process. 4. Don t forget to register for estatements once you are registered for Online Banking. estatements While registering for Online Banking, you may want to sign up for estatements (a free service) and BillPay (also free when you have checking and estatements). To learn more about the advantages of estatements and BillPay, visit www.peachstatefcu.org and select Digital Services from the Services drop-down menu. estatements are a great way to protect your account from fraud due to stolen or lost mail. If you do not enroll in estatements, you will be charged a $4 per month statement print fee unless the primary member is 60 years or older, younger than 18, if you have more than $25,000 in deposits, or $15,000 or more in loans. 10 Bill Payment If you currently use BillPay with Southeast, you will need to enroll in Peach State s BillPay service and set up your payees. Please do not schedule any payments to be paid after June 29th with Southeast s BillPay as they will not be processed. If you have any payments scheduled we suggest you cancel these payments and make the payment through another source. All payees must be set up once you enroll in Peach State s BillPay service. Please print a listing of your payees along with payment information prior to June 29th. It is also important that you note any scheduled payments past June 29th so that you can make arrangements to pay them prior to that date and avoid being late. Consider sending a payment directly to the payee or schedule a future payment on Peach State s BillPay after July 2nd.
Telephone Banking (MemberLine) On July 2nd, you will have access to our telephone banking system, MemberLine. To set up telephone banking through MemberLine, please follow the steps outlined below. 1. To access MemberLine, call 770.338.4180 or 706.543.1699. 2. You will hear a welcome message. Press 2 to proceed before the message is done. Press # after each entry for a quick response. You will be prompted to: 3. Enter your NEW Peach State account number. 4. Enter the last four digits of the primary account holder s social security number (this is the person listed first on the account). 5. Enter a four digit PIN. 6. You will hear a message restating your PIN. Press 1 to confirm if it is correct. 7. Press 2 to go to your account information. Mobile Banking/Mobile Check Deposit On July 2nd you may come into any of our branches or contact our Call Center at 855.889.4328 to enroll for Mobile Banking and obtain additional information for our Mobile Check Deposit service. 11
