In selecting fruit for exhibition, choose specimens that would bring the highest market price. Do not select the largest. Select medium size. In plate displays, select 5 specimens as nearly alike as possible. 2. The following score is to be as a basis for the judging of all exhibits: Exterior Quality 15 Size (total weight) 10 Uniformity of color 10 Uniformity of shape 10 Shell texture 10 Condition 10 Interior Quality 35 TOTAL 100 Points 3. Each exhibitor must designate the particular premium for which he is competing in special classes and see that the packages are properly tagged. Single specimens may not be considered or shown in variety classes. 4. Premiums will be awarded only when the exhibit complies with the standard, is meritorious, and is properly named. 5. Only 1 entry per person per class. 6. All fruits and nuts become the property of the Fayette County Fair. 7. Entries that do not place may not be placed on display due to space limitations. 8.
