CITY OF SURREY BY-LAW NO. 16509 A by-law to authorize the expenditure of monies in the Capital Works Reserve Fund for the Provision of Facilities and Amenities within Neighbourhood Concept Plan Areas.... WHEREAS pursuant to Section 188(1) of the Community Charter, being Chapter 26, of the Statutes of B.C., 2003, as amended, Council has established a Capital Works Reserve Fund for the Provision of Facilities and Amenities within Neighbourhood Concept Plan Areas; AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 189(1) of the said Community Charter, it is deemed desirable to expend a portion of the monies set aside in the Capital Works Reserve Fund for the Provision of Facilities and Amenities within Neighbourhood Concept Plan Areas; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Surrey, in open meeting assembled, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The sum of Five Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($5,200,000) is hereby appropriated from the Capital Works Reserve Fund for the Provision of Facilities and Amenities within Neighbourhood Concept Plan Areas, specifically for: a) North Cloverdale West, Library Services, in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars b) North Cloverdale West, Park Development, in the sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000); c) North Cloverdale East, Park Development, in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars d) East Newton North, Fire Services, in the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000);

Should any of the above amounts remain unexpended after the expenditure hereby authorized has been made, any unexpended balance shall be returned to the credit of the said Reserve Fund. 3. This by-law shall be cited for all purposes as Capital Works Reserve Fund for the Provision of Facilities and Amenities within Neighbourhood Concept Plan Areas Reserve Fund Expenditure Authorization By-law, 2008 No. 16509.
