New Services At BankNewport we have an array of services to meet your banking needs. Here are some services that may be new to you and will be available when you become a BankNewport customer. Personalized Debit Card: Turn your BankNewport Debit Card into your #1 Card by adding your photo or a favorite image^. Upload your own image or one of ours and design your card right on our website. Instant Issue Debit Card: Coming first quarter of 2014, you will be able to receive a debit card immediately in a branch at the time of account opening or if you need to replace a lost or stolen card. BankNewport Credit Cards: Choose the card that s right for you. Are you looking for a rewards card that earns bonus points on every purchase, every month? Whatever your needs, we have a credit card for you. Image ATMs: Make deposits at the ATM without deposit slips or envelopes. Plus you can deposit up to 50 bills and 30 checks at one time with check images printed right on your receipt. Once the transition is complete, the Coventry branch location will feature an Image ATM and a listing of all our Image ATM locations is available on our website. Online Account Opening: Open personal deposit accounts online when it s convenient for you. Person 2 Person Payments*: Now you can pay the babysitter, reimburse a roommate for utility bills or just split the tab at lunch with your friends with Person-to-Person (P2P) payments at BankNewport. Transfer money quickly and securely to anybody without the use of checks or cash. Cross Customer Transfers*: This feature allows you to transfer funds to another BankNewport customer, even if you re not an authorized signer on the account. Bank2Bank Transfers*: Bank2Bank allows you to transfer money between your BankNewport accounts and those you own at other U.S. Financial Institutions, including banks, credit unions and brokerage accounts within 3 to 5 business days. ebills*: Organize all your bills in one spot. Our free ebill service provides you with the ability to have your paper bills sent to you electronically via BankNewport s Bill Pay service rather than in the mail. Safe Deposit Boxes: A safe deposit box is an inexpensive way to protect those documents and personal items** that are so important. Whether you are protecting jewelry or one-of-a-kind keepsakes, security and peace of mind is as close as BankNewport. Please see our website for branch locations with safe deposit box availability. ^Create your own personalized card for $8.95. At this time the #1 Card is only available for personal Visa Debit Card accounts. * Available for Personal Online Banking users only. ** Any and all contents stored inside the safe deposit box are not FDIC insured. 3

Transition Information Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible for you, our new customer. We have provided the following account and service information that includes key dates and times throughout the transition which we feel you should be aware. We ask that you please review the information and contact us with any questions you may have at 877.709.2265. Pending final regulatory approval, the transition is scheduled to take place at the close of business on Friday, March 7, 2014. ATM/Debit Cards Approximately 1 week prior to the March 7th transition, you will receive your new BankNewport ATM/Debit card. Soon thereafter you will receive your PIN in a separate mailing. You can activate your new card via BankNewport s 24-hour telephone banking system at 877.709.2265 option 7. We recommend that you activate your card prior to 6:00 PM on Friday, March 7th. You may begin using your new activated BankNewport ATM/Debit Card as of March 8, 2014 for ATM and POS transactions. Your current Randolph Savings Bank ATM/Debit Card will no longer be active as of 6:00 PM on Friday, March 7th. Branch/ATM Availability During the transition you are welcome to use any of BankNewport s ATMs throughout the state as both the Coventry and Cranston locations and their ATMs will be unavailable starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 7th and will remain as such until the branches reopen on Monday, March 10th. The BankNewport branch and ATM locations listed below are the closest to your current branch: BankNewport Branch Locations 1000 Division St., East Greenwich 1350 Ten Rod Rd., North Kingstown BankNewport ATMs at Walgreens 1010 Park Ave., Cranston 1763 Broad St., Cranston 1279 Oaklawn Ave., Cranston 875 Tiogue Ave., Coventry Please see the back cover for a complete listing of our branch and ATM locations. On Monday, March 10th, the Coventry and Cranston locations are scheduled to reopen as BankNewport branches and their ATMs will be available, as well. As of this date, you may now also bank at any BankNewport branch location. 4

Checks You will receive your new BankNewport checks within the week prior to March 7th and you may begin using them as of Saturday, March 8th. BankNewport will accept any Randolph Savings Bank checks dated prior to March 7, 2014. If you still have unused checks after the transition is complete, you may bring them in to any BankNewport branch and we will be happy to destroy them for you. Online Banking/Bill Pay/Mobile Banking/Telephone Banking As of 10:00 PM on Friday, March 7th you will no longer have access to Randolph Savings Bank s Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Banking, or Telephone Banking services. We recommend that you complete all of your current online bill payments prior to this date. Please note that any recurring or future-dated payments will not be processed after the transition is complete. Once you enroll, you will receive 60 days of online banking account history that we have transferred from your Randolph Savings Bank accounts based on the date of your enrollment. All payees previously set up on your Randolph Savings Bank Bill Pay will need to be re-entered into the BankNewport Bill Pay system and no previous bill pay history will be transferred to BankNewport. We will have our staff in the branches to provide on-site assistance or available by phone at 877.709.2265 option 4 to assist you in this process. You can access BankNewport s Telephone Banking system at 877.709.2265 option 1. You will be able to enroll in BankNewport s Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Banking and Telephone Banking beginning Monday, March 10th. Enrollment for Online Banking, Bill Pay and Mobile Banking can be completed at www.banknewport.com. Important Information Is BankNewport purchasing all Randolph Savings Bank branches or specific branches? BankNewport is purchasing only Randolph Savings Bank s two Rhode Island branch offices located at the following addresses: 730 Centre of New England Boulevard, Coventry 875 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston Customer Service Representatives: There is no plan to change the staffing at the branches, so you can be comfortable in knowing that your Customer Service Representative will continue to be there for you. Although the ownership of the branches is changing, you can expect to see familiar faces and enjoy the personal service you have always experienced. In addition, you will be able to utilize our Direct Banking Center for all of your customer service needs by calling 877.709.2265. BankNewport Branch Access: After your accounts are transferred to BankNewport, you will have the ability to bank at any BankNewport branch location. In the meantime, you should continue to bank at the location you currently use. Deposit Account Numbers: Your new BankNewport accounts will carry the same account numbers that you had at Randolph Savings Bank. BankNewport Routing Number: 211574642 Deposit insurance coverage on your accounts with BankNewport: BankNewport is an FDIC-insured institution, which means that your accounts are protected by the FDIC to the maximum extent allowable. The FDIC insurance coverage is $250,000 per depositor, per insured depository institution for each account ownership category. To help you determine your insurance coverage, you can use an online FDIC tool called the Electronic Depositor Insurance Estimator (EDIE), which is available via BankNewport s website or by visiting the FDIC s website at www.fdic.gov/edie/. As a current Randolph Savings Bank customer, your accounts also receive insurance coverage above the FDIC limits through a private, industry-sponsored insurance fund known as the DIF. This additional insurance coverage is only available to Massachusettschartered savings banks, and therefore as a BankNewport customer your accounts will no longer be eligible for coverage under the DIF. BankNewport is a strong and well-capitalized institution, and is one of the oldest mutual savings banks in the entire United States. 6

If you have funds exceeding the $250,000 FDIC insurance limit, contact us regarding our Certificate of Deposit Registry Service (CDARS) which can assure FDIC coverage for significantly greater balances. Passbook Accounts: BankNewport does not offer passbook accounts. All passbook accounts will become statement accounts. Auto Payment and Direct Deposit: BankNewport is committed to making this transition as seamless as possible however, there may initially be a slight delay in posting direct deposit or automatic debits to your account. In order to continue these transactions, updated account information will need to be provided to these parties. Additional details will be available on our Transition Resource Center at www.banknewport. com/randolph. Certificates of Deposit/Individual Retirement Accounts: If you have a Certificate of Deposit (CD) account or an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), your interest rate, terms and conditions of the account will remain unchanged through the maturity date of your account. BankNewport will notify customers holding CDs prior to the maturity dates to communicate our current product offerings. BankNewport will become the IRA Trustee for all IRA accounts. BankNewport does not offer passbook certificates. All terms and conditions of your certificate will remain the same, however you will not need a passbook for your account. SUM ATM Network: BankNewport is not a member of the SUM ATM Network. However, we do have accounts that offer nationwide ATM refunds. Please visit www.banknewport.com for information on our products and services. estatements: BankNewport offers both paper and electronic statements. After March 10th, you are welcome to enroll in BankNewport s estatements at www.banknewport. com/ebranch. Mobile Banking/Mobile Check Deposit: We welcome you to download the BankNewport Mobile Banking App featuring Mobile Check Deposit to conveniently manage your accounts and deposit checks using your mobile device. Loan Customers: If you have a loan with Randolph Savings Bank currently, it will remain with Randolph Savings Bank. Continue to make your payments to Randolph Savings Bank.
