Preface CAPMAS is keen on providing the statistics and information that cover all the economic, social and environmental fields in the Arab Republic of Egypt so as to be issued in the appropriate time for gaining its desired benefits. In its concern of making all its data, publication and services available to all users, CAPMAS had issued this for first time at 1998 and this is the sixth edition which is updated according to the recent changes in CAPMAS working plan and services.
