Accordingly, an amount computed at half the original rate f or unexpired period of guarantee less three months ensuring that the commission for minimum period as applicable is recovered Guarantee Commission @25% of norm al charges on guarantee backed by 100% cash margin/deposits. Renewal of Guarantee: Same as applicable f or issuance of fresh guarantee except that the claim period be not charged if that renewal is affected before the expiry date of the original guarantee 29. COMMITTMENET CHARGES The Commitment charges are applicable to all borrowers enjoying working capital limit of Rs.1 crore and above. The commitment charges are to be levied @0.25%p.a. on the unavailed portion of operating/drawing limit. Tolerance level 25% of quarterly operating limit is permissible 30. UPFRONT FEES FOR TERM LOANS Upfront fees be recovered in case of all term loans, over Rs.2 lakhs at the following rates: i) Above Rs.2.0 lacs to Rs.50 lacs - 1% ii) Above Rs.50 lacs - 0.50% subject to Minimum of Rs.50,000/- Exempted categories: Other priority sector advances, government sponsored schemes, agriculture advances, export oriented units, retail lending scheme including car loans, direct housing finance. 31.LEAD BANK CHGS. Rs. 1 lac Above charges to be levied per borrower per annum Exempted Categories SHG, Swarozgaris under SGSY, all weaker section borrowers, PACS and FSS PART J- SERVICE CHARGES FOR INLAND LETTER OF CREDIT 37.1.GENERAL: (A) (i)commission must be charged when a L.C. is opened OR amended and no refund may be allowed in any circumstances whatsoever, whether a credit is cancelled, is only partly availed of or expires wholly availed of. (ii) All charges in respect of advance bills and/or bills under Letter of Credit are for the account of applicant. (iii) The charges made under these rules shall be levied irrespective of whether a margin is obtained or not and shall not be refunded in any event except a genuine mistake in collection them on the part of the bank. (iv) Out of pocket expenses such as postage, telegram, telexes, cables shall be collected in addition to the charges detailed below: (B) For the purpose of this rule an irrevocable credit constitutes a definite undertaking of the issuing bank, to honour documents strictly drawn in Terms and conditions of the credit which cannot be amended or cancelled without the agreement of the issuing bank, the confirming bank(if any) and the benef iciary, whereas a confirmed letter of credit is one which carries the confirmation of an advising bank and such confirmation constitutes a definite undertaking of such bank (the confirming bank) in addition to that of issuing bank. (C) W hen the Inland Let ter of Credit opened by the bank is advised/confirmed by its own branch, the advising/confirming branch of that bank. Will not be entitled to the advising/conf irming commission.

37.2(A) On the inland letter of credit, the following charges, with a minimum of Rs.100/- shall be collected: (a) A Usance charge accounting to the trainer of the bill @ (i) 2.30% p.a for the usance period for complete month or part thereof. In case of sight bills/usance for less than 1 month, minimum one month charges as given below 2.05% Min-Rs 500/- (b) A commitment charge : And @1.03% with m in f or a period of 1 month or part thereof For extension:@1.03% For Increase in amount: Usance & Commitment charges shall be applicable with min of Rs.500/- 37.3 Revolving Letters of Credit: Sam e as LC opening charges + oneach reinstatement usance charges @2.30% p.a according to tenor and commitment charge of 1.10% p.a on reinstated amount Min Rs.500/-

37.4 Advising Inland Letters of Credit: @.05% with minimum of Rs.500/- without adding confirmation. Further commission of Rs.300/- f or advising each am endment 37.5 Confirmation of Inland Letters of Credit: As applicable to LC opening charges 37.6 Transferable Letters of Credit Rs.500/- per transfer ( The transfer charges shall be levied on the acco unt of first beneficiary o f the cr edit unless otherwise specified) On all letters of credit calling f or Usance drafts to be drawn on and accepted by banks, an acceptance commission shall be charges at the rate of 2..30% p.a. with a minimum of Rs.500/-p.a. If a charge is to be collected from the beneficiary and he ref uses to pay the charges. It must be collected from the opener (applicant for the credit). 37.7 Negotiation Charges: The negotiating bank/branch shall levy negotiating charges at the following rates: For bills upto Rs.2.50 lakh: @0.40% with a minimum of Rs.500/-. For bills over Rs.2.50 lakh, @0.26% with a minimum of Rs.1000/- plus discount at applicable rate of interest from the date of negotiation to the date of reimbursement. 37.8 Out of Pocket Expenses: All out of pocket expenses such as postages, telegrams, telexes, cables shall be collected from the benef iciary unless otherwise specified.

37.9 Guarantees on accounts of discrepancies in documents: A commission 0.25% with a minimum of Rs.500/- shall be charged for joining in customer s guarantee and for giving guarantees on behalf of customers to other banks in respect of discrepancies in documents negotiated under letters of credit, when payment received under reserve is credited to the beneficiary s account. However, no such charge should be recovered if money received under reserve at the request of the customer is not parted with. When called upon to ref und payment made under reserve (general or specific reserve), bank will pay to the negotiating bank (in case of restricted LCs) the face value of the bill together with interest at the commercial rate of negotiating bank plus charges, Interest/charge, if any. W ould be for customer s account. 37.10 Clean payment received under letter of credit: A f lat charge of Rs.250/- will be levied by the beneficiary s bank for receiving clean paym ent and crediting beneficiary s account. 37.11 Certificates: When the beneficiary asks for attestation of commercial invoice at the time of negotiation/collection, such attestation, may be done f ree of charge but should the beneficiary ask for attestation of invoices on a subsequent occasion, then charge of Rs.25/- per invoice. In case of LC s backed by 100% cash m argin, charges at 25% of normal charges to be levied subject to a min of Rs 500/- 37.12.
