5 Linking Panes Together Some panels can be linked together. When panels are linked, selecting an instrument in one of the panels causes other panels in the group to display information relevant to that instrument. For example, when you have an Order Entry panel linked to a Watchlist panel, the instrument selected in the Order Entry panel will be changed to the instrument selected in the Watchlist. Each link is identified by a colour: grey, red, yellow, green, black, blue, or brown, which means you can have up to 6 different links in a Workspace. Setting Up Links To link two or more panels together: Click the down arrow alongside the Link button in one of the panels you want to link together. From the drop-down menu, select one of the colours. The button changes to display the colour. Repeat the same procedure for other panels to be linked, selecting the same colour. You can also link all panels in the Workspace by selecting Link to All. To unlink a panel from a group, click on the Link button and select Unlink. As you can see in the picture below, the link for the watchlist, Graph and Order entry is red. Thus by clicking on a share in your watchlist, the graph and order entry will automatically change to that symbol.
