Aquaculture Settlements (M102) Scope of Appropriation This appropriation is limited to the recognition of settlements negotiated under the Māori Aquaculture Commercial Claims Settlement Act 2004. This appropriation has decreased by $18 million to $3.800 million mainly due to the transfer of funding for to 2018/19 of $20 million for the settlements of the Crowns Aquaculture pre-commencement and new space' obligations to iwi under the Māori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Act 2004. This was offset by the transfer of funding from 2016/17 to of $2 million due to the timing of the settlements.
