Terms & Conditions General Insurance Bonanza Campaign Re-Amended Terms and Conditions for General Insurance Bonanza Campaign will supercede the existing, Terms and Conditions with effect from 11 May 2016 with the amendments in italics, bold highlighted and underlined. 1. Definition 1.1 For the purpose of this Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings assigned to them except where the context otherwise requires. Bank means AmBank (M) Berhad (Company No. 8515-D), a company incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 and having its registered address at Level 22, Bangunan AmBank Group, No. 55 Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur. AmBank Group means all the related corporations and associate corporations of the Bank whether incorporated inside or outside Malaysia, existing now or in the future and reference to AmBank Group in this Terms and Conditions herein shall include all or any entity within the AmBank Group. Eligible Customer(s) means any person who purchase(s) eligible products through The Bank. Eligible Product(s) means General Insurance Product(s) namely Private Motor, AmDrive Plus, AmPro PA Plus, Houseowner/Householder and Household Guard underwritten by AmGeneral Insurance Bhd which is purchased through the Bank. Prior Notice means notice by the Bank of certain facts or of a particular state of affairs of at least twenty one (21) calendar days. The Campaign means General Insurance Bonanza Campaign organized by The Bank in accordance with the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein. Branches means all branches nationwide under the The Bank. AutoXpress Contact Centre means AmBank call centre for selected General Insurance product. 1.2 Words denoting person shall include living persons and, if and where applicable, body or persons incorporated or unincorporated. Words importing the singular shall also include the plural and vice-versa. Words importing the masculine gender shall include the feminine and neuter gender. 1.3 The term Associate Corporations shall have the meaning assigned to it under Section 2(1) of the Financial Services Act 2013 as the case may be. The term Related Corporations shall have the meaning assigned to it under Section 6 of the Companies Act 1965. 2. Campaign Period 2.1 The Campaign shall commence from 9 November 2015 until 31 March 2016 (both dates are inclusive) ( Campaign Period ) or such other period which shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank. 2.2 The Bank reserves the right to vary/and amend the duration of the Campaign Period at its sole and absolute discretion with Prior Notice. 3. Eligibility 3.1 The Campaign is open to both new and existing Individual customers who purchase/renew any Eligible Products with The Bank during The Campaign ( Eligible Customer ).

3.2 The following individuals/non-individuals are NOT eligible to participate in The Campaign: a) Government/statutory bodies; and/or. b) Individuals below the age of eighteen (18) years old as of the date of commencement of the Campaign Period; and/or c) Non-Individual Customers including:- Sole-proprietorships / partnerships. SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises). Companies and Corporates. Non-profit Organizations / Charitable bodies / Societies/Clubs/Associations. d) Employees of the AmBank Group and their immediate family members (spouses, children and parents). 4. Campaign Mechanics There are two (2) stages that the Eligible Customers can partake in the Campaign as below:- 4.1 First stage - Monthly Prize(s) Campaign Period 1 st Month : 9 th November 2015 to 30 th November 2015 2 nd Month : 1 st December 2015 to 31 st December 2015 3 rd Month : 1 st January 2016 to 31 st January 2016 4 th Month : 1 st February 2016 to 29 th February 2016 5 th Month : 1 st March 2016 to 31 st March 2016 a) To qualify to be in the running to win a monthly prize during the Campaign Period, the Eligible Customer(s) as stated in Clause 3.1 must purchase any Eligible Product(s) at the Branches or via AutoXpress Contact Centre. For every purchase, the Eligible Customer(s) will be entitled to one entry for this Campaign. b) On a monthly basis, the eligible entries for the month will be extracted from AmGeneral Insurance Berhad Core system. The shortlisted Eligible Customers ( Shortlisted Eligible Customers ) will be as per the steps below:- Step 1 - Tabulate total number of Total Eligible Customers (TEC) for the period e.g Month 1, TEC = 5,819 Step 2 - Divide TEC by total number of prizes for the period e.g Month 1, total number of prizes = 80 Hence, TEC /total number of prizes = 72.73 which will be rounded down to 72. Step 3 - The Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) will be selected based on every 72 nd position interval on the monthly list. e.g 72, 144, 216, 288, 360. c) The Bank will contact the Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) based on the latest telephone number(s) provided to the Bank and maintained in the Bank records. Therefore the Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) is responsible to ensure that the contact and phone numbers provided are current and updated with the Bank and the Bank will not be responsible if the number in the Bank s record is uncontactable. d) The Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) shall be contacted via telephone at any time during office hours (9.00 a.m 5.00 p.m ) from Monday to Friday. Should the first attempt to call a Shortlisted Eligible Customer be unsuccessful (i.e no answer, no connection, etc) another attempt will be made within half an hour. Where such further attempts are again unsuccessful, the Bank shall have the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify that Shortlisted Eligible Customer.

e) Upon successful contact, the Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) shall be required to answer two (2) questions correctly. f) All telephone conversations between the Bank caller and the Shortlisted Eligible Customer shall be recorded and the Bank reserves the right to use the recording, in part or in whole, for any promotional activities of the Bank. g) If any Shortlisted Eligible Customer cannot be contacted or fails to answer the two (2) questions correctly, the Bank shall contact the next Eligible Customer whose name is immediately below that Shortlisted Eligible Customer in the list of eligible entries as replacement. For example, if the Shortlisted Eligible Customer on the 144 th position of the list cannot be contacted or fails to answer the two (2) questions correctly, the Bank shall contact the 145 th Eligible Customer instead, and if the latter cannot be contacted or fails to answer the two (2) questions correctly too, the 146 th Eligible Customer and so forth. h) The first twenty (20) Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) contacted and successfully answer the two (2) questions correctly will win the main monthly prize which is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. The subsequent sixty (60) Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) who answered the two (2) questions correctly will win a Touch & Go Card pre-loaded with RM 200.00 each. i) All Monthly prize winners except the final month winners will be notified during the Campaign Period by the Bank. The final Monthly winners and Grand prize winners will be notified after the campaign period by the Bank. The Bank shall have the right to publish the name and NRIC number of the Winner(s) in The Bank s website, newspapers and/or in its promotional materials. j) The Bank shall not be held liable in the event the winners cannot be contacted for whatsoever reason. Winners are personally responsible for ensuring that their personal particulars, contact details and email address have been accurately submitted when filling in any proposal forms/required form. The Bank shall not be held responsible or liable for any late or unsuccessful efforts to notify the Winners. k) The Bank may, at its sole discretion, forfeit the prize(s) in the event of non-collection for whatsoever reasons after three (3) months from the date of contacting the winners. l) The Bank may, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify the monthly prize(s) winner due to any breach of conditions mentioned herein. 4.2 Second Stage - Grand Prize(s) Overall Campaign Period : 9 th November 2015 to 31 st March 2016 a) All Eligible Customer(s) (including monthly winners) will qualify to be shortlisted for the Grand Prizes. This stage will be conducted after completion of the Campaign Period. b) On a cumulative list based on the overall campaign period, the eligible entries will be extracted from AmGeneral Insurance Berhad Core system. The Shortlisted Eligible Customers will be as per the steps below:- Step 1 - Tabulate total number of Total Eligible Customers (TEC) for the period e.g. TEC = 29,095 Step 2 - Divide TEC by total number of prizes for the period e.g. Total number of prizes = 3 Hence, TEC / total number of prizes = 9,698.33 which will be rounded down to 9,698. Step 3 - The Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) will be selected based on every 9,698 th position interval on the monthly list. e.g. 9,698, 19,396, 29,094

c) The Bank will contact the Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) based on the latest telephone number(s) provided to The Bank and maintained in The Bank records. Therefore the Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) is responsible to ensure that the contact and phone numbers provided are current and updated with the Bank and the Bank will not be responsible if the number in the Bank s record is uncontactable. d) The Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) shall be contacted via telephone at any time during office hours (9.00 a.m 5.00 p.m ) from Monday to Friday. For example, if the Shortlisted Eligible Customer on the 9,698 th position of the list cannot be contacted or fails to answer the two (2) three (3) questions correctly, the Bank shall contact the 9,699 th Eligible Customer instead, and if the latter cannot be contacted or fails to answer the two (2) three (3) questions correctly too, the 9,700 th Eligible Customer and so forth. h) The first three (3) Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) contacted and successfully answers the two (2) three (3) questions correctly will be the winner of one (1) of eligible to win the Grand Prize(s) ( Eligible Finalists ). ( Winner ). i) The Bank shall not be held liable in the event the Eligible Finalist winners cannot be contacted for whatsoever reason. Eligible Finalist Winners are personally responsible for ensuring that their personal particulars, contact details and email address have been accurately submitted when filling in any proposal forms/required form. The Bank shall not be held responsible or liable for any late or unsuccessful efforts to notify the Eligible Finalist winners. j) The Eligible Finalists will be required to attend the Campaign Finale Ceremony and participate in a game to be organised by the Bank to determine the Grand Prizes respective winners, at a date and time as determined by the Bank. The Eligible Finalist shall be notified by the Bank via telephone calls with regards to the specific date, time, and place where the Campaign Finale Ceremony is to be held. If the first attempt to call the Eligible Finalist fails, a second attempt shall be made, Should the second attempt fails, no further attempts shall be made by the Bank to notify the Eligible Finalist and the Bank shall have the right to disqualify the Eligible Finalist. If the Eligible Finalist fails to attend the Campaign Finale ceremony, the Bank also reserves the right to forfeit the said finalist s Grand Prize at its sole and absolute discretion. k) Mechanism to determine the Prize Winners in clause 4.2 (j) will now be superceded by clause 4.2(k) whereby, the Bank will contact the Shortlisted Eligible Customer(s) via telephone who will then be required to answer three (3) questions correctly. The Shortlisted Eligible Customer who manages to answer the three (3) questions correctly in the fastest time will be the winner of the First Prize. Meanwhile, the Shortlisted Eligible Customers with the correct answers with the second and third fastest times will be the winners of the 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. The Winners will then be notified via telephone within three weeks thereafter to attend a Prize Giving Ceremony. During the ceremony, the Bank shall officially announce the first, second and third prize winners.

l) In the event the Eligible Finalist winner is not able to attend the Prize Giving Ceremony Campaign Finale Ceremony/event, The Eligible Finalist winner may nominate a proxy/ representative to attend the event subject to the Bank s discretion. The Eligible Finalist winner will be required to give a seven (7) working days written notice on the nomination to the Bank prior to the date of the ceremony/event. m) In the event the Eligible Finalist winner does not comply with the requirements of item (k) and (l) above, the Eligible Finalist will be disqualified, and subject to the Bank s discretion. In this instance, the prize(s) will be forfeited accordingly. n) Eligible Finalist The winners who has been chosen to attend attending the Ceremony Campaign Finale ceremony are required to will have to adhere to any rules and regulations required set by the Bank in order to win the Grand Prize(s). 4.3 Prize(s) are not exchangeable for cash or items in kind, and are not transferable. The Bank reserves the right to change the prize at its discretion to another prize(s) or a cash prize of similar or lesser value with giving prior notice. The prizes are exclusive of all charges that may be incurred by the Winner (if any), such as taxes, levies or fees. 5. Prizes 5.1 There are 2 reward categories in the Campaign which is the Monthly Prize(s) and the Grand Prize(s). a) Grand Prize(s) 1 unit of Honda HR-V 1.8 L 1 unit of Proton Iriz 1.3 standard CVT 1 unit of Perodua Axia 1.0 standard G b) Monthly Prize(s) 20 units of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 16GB x 5 months 60 units of pre-loaded RM200 Touch & Go Card x 5 months 5.2 Winners of monthly prize(s) are also eligible to be in the running for the Grand Prize(s). 5.3 Monthly prize(s) winners are eligible to participate for subsequent month prize(s) subject to being qualified for that particular month. To qualify, an Eligible Customer(s) who has won a monthly prize(s) previously will be required to purchase an Eligible Product(s) the subsequent month(s) to stand a chance to be shortlisted as per 4.1. 6. General 6.1 By participating in The Campaign, the Eligible Customer(s) and/or any party related herein consent to and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein. 6.2 The Campaign is not valid with other promotions of the Bank. Hence, no other special, additional or preferential benefits shall be given under the Campaign. 6.3 The Bank shall have, at any time, the right and absolute discretion to cancel, terminate or suspend this Campaign with Prior Notice without assigning any reason. 6.4 The Bank shall have the right and absolute discretion to vary, amend, delete or add to any of the Terms and Conditions specifically set out herein, in whole or in any part from time to time including to vary The Campaign s tenure as it deems fit, necessary and appropriate with Prior Notice.

6.5 Any notice to be given by the Bank shall be posted in The Bank s official website, at www.ambank.com.my or its Branches, and any such notice shall be deemed given when so posted at its official website or its branches, whichever is earlier. 6.6 The Bank shall have the absolute right to disqualify any Eligible Customer(s) from participating in the Campaign if it finds that or determines that:-. a) The said Eligible Customer(s) has provided untrue information or acted fraudulently in any manner during the entry process or throughout the Campaign Period; or. b) The Eligible Customer(s) has breached or potentially breached the Terms and Conditions herein. 6.7 The policy which has been purchased by the Eligible Customer(s) will have to be active at the point of receiving the prize(s). Eligible Customer(s) policies which are inactive at the point of receiving the prize(s) will be disqualified. 6.8 Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any other provisions and/or representations contained in any other notices / promotion / advertising materials for the Campaign. 6.9 The Bank s decision on all matters relating to The Campaign shall be final and binding on all the Eligible Customer(s). No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained. 6.10 Under no circumstances will the Bank be held liable for any loss or damages, including without limitation to loss of income, profits, goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties, howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, borne in connection with the campaign or the Bank having exercised its rights and entitlement under any of this Terms and Conditions, and even if the Bank has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, all such damages are expressly excluded. 6.11 The Bank expressly excludes and disclaims any representations, warranties or endorsements, expressed or implied, written or oral with respect to the quality or suitability of the Prize(s). The Bank will also bear no responsibility for resolving disputes with the manufacturer or supplier of the Prize(s) and the Successful Participant are to deal directly with the manufacturer or suppliers for all warranty information 6.12 The Bank shall not be liable for any default in respect of the Campaign due to any act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, technical or system failures or any event beyond the reasonable control of the Bank. 6.13 All terms and conditions stipulated herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. 6.14 The Eligible Customer(s) is required to log on to the Bank s corporate website for promotion updates at www.ambank.com.my for the latest Terms & Conditions, if any. 6.15 All winners names will be published in www.ambank.com.my website and any other method of communication that the Bank shall at its absolute discretion so choose. 6.16 By participating in the Campaign, Eligible Customer(s) hereby expressly agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 6.17 By participating in The Campaign, Eligible Customer(s) give their consent to and authorize the Bank to disclose their personal particulars to the appointed representatives engaged by The Bank for the purposes of the Campaign and the consent hereby given shall be deemed to be consent for the purposes of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. 6.18 All Prizes for the Campaign will be presented within three (3) months after the announcement of the winners is made on the Bank s website www.ambank.com.my and/or any other method of communication. 6.19 All Prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash and are subject to Terms and Conditions stated herein and any prizes unclaimed three (3) months after notification and announcement of winners via www.ambank.com.my website will be forfeited. 6.20 All transactions recorded by the Bank are final and conclusive.

6.21 In the event of any discrepancy or conflict in the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the English version and Bahasa Malaysia versions of each of these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as equivalent and each of the Terms and Conditions stipulated shall carry the same meaning.
