Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney he worked as an Assistant Vice President for Merrill Lynch. He was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank as well as at a boutique investment management firm, Trainer Wortham. He has managed assets for endowments, foundations, individuals, and is dedicated to providing clients with a disciplined wealth management experience. He holds a Bachelor s of Science degree in International Business and Finance from San Francisco State University. He received his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Golden Gate University and earned his CIMA designation at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business. He is an active Board member of the Latino Community Foundation, an active Board member of Juma Ventures, past Board member of the Greater San Jose Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, advisor to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer. He was selected to serve on a selection committee for The United States-Mexico Foundation for the Advancement of Science.
