Landing Page 1) Using your web browser navigate to www.macquarie.com.au 2) On the right side of the Macquarie home page select Login to Macquarie 3) A pop up screen will appear select Advisers 2
Getting Started 4) The Select an application drop down menu will appear select Managed Accounts 5) You will then be directed to the Login to Macquarie page where you will be prompted to enter your Macquarie Access Code (MAC) and Password. *At this stage if you are unable to log in or if you receive an error message please contact the MPPM Client Service Team for assistance on 1800 501 180. 3
Adviser Home Page 6) You will be directed to the MPPM Adviser home page which will display a list of your client accounts held with MPPM. * In this section you will also be able to view client balances, generate reports and access the MPPM Adviser Resource page. 4
Options available from the menu Adviser Resource Page The Adviser Resource page allows you access to a wide range of MPPM material: Product Information tab includes: Offer documents Sample reports Investment strategy profiles Model performance Account maintenance forms Guides Reports, news and media tab includes: Current (and historical) strategy updates Monthly adviser presentations News and media items
Options available from the menu Generate Reports - allows you to access the following: Asset Allocation A pie chart of your current portfolio by asset class Portfolio Valuation A summary report showing current holdings and value. Income Summary A summary of income accrued or paid into the portfolio during a specified time frame. Income Details Same as the Income Summary Report plus a breakdown of dividend tax components. Account Details A snapshot of the basic information on the portfolio (eg. name, adviser, address, phone number, linked bank account etc). Investment Transactions A listing of investment activity in the portfolio during a specific time period. Cash Transactions Lists all cash movements within the portfolio during a specific time period, including contributions, withdrawals, interest and fees. Unrealised Gains/Losses A summary of all the current share parcels held in the portfolio and their relative capital gains/loss positions. This report is taken at a particular point in time (eg. end of month, quarter, the date you select). Realised Gains/Losses A summary report showing the capital gains and losses in the portfolio during a specific time period. Report Pack - allows you to access: Quarterly Investment reports This report contains performance summary, market commentary, general portfolio reports and a tax invoice where relevant. Annual Tax reports these contain information required to complete your tax return and aligns our data to ATO rulings on dividends, distributions and corporate actions. Data in the quarterly investment report is not to be used for tax purposes. Note that some securities such as stapled trusts supply their reports to us in September; this means that reports containing stapled securities not be available until early October. 6
What the menu looks like Example 1: To generate a Portfolio Valuation (PV) 1) Select the Portfolio ID or search by client 2) Enter the date you wish to generate the PV for as the End date. 3) Select the report format (PDF, CSV) 4) Tick the Portfolio Valuation box 5) Click the Generate button 6) This will direct you to a second screen confirming the report Status. Once the status has changed from running to completed you will be able to open the report by clicking on the report name. 7
What the menu looks like Example 2: Generating a consolidated Portfolio Valuation (PV) for SMA clients with multiple models 1) Change Type to Client 2) Select the Portfolio ID or search by client 3) Enter the date you wish to generate the PV for as the End date. 4) Select the report format (PDF, CSV) 5) Tick the Portfolio Valuation box 6) Click the Generate button 7) This will direct you to a second screen confirming the report Status. Once the status has changed from running to completed you will be able to open the consolidated report by clicking on the report name. 8
