NEW TRADING HALL FEATURES 1. ORDER TAB The Order Panel (Figure 1) consists of the following attributes: 1) Stock Counter Displays the selected Stock Name and Code 2) Credit Limit Shows the credit available 3) Refresh button Refreshes the Credit Limit 4) Trading Account Name Shows the trade account 5) Order Price Auto or Manual entry 6) Order Quantity Auto or Custom entry 7) Reset Button Clears all data entries 8) Remark/Notice Displays transaction details and system acknowledgements 9) Order type only Limit Order available 10) Order Duration Sessions, Day and Good Till Date (Max. 30 working day) 11) Trading Pin Access code to trade 12) Save PIN Checkbox Upon activation, subsequent orders utilize the last entered PIN automatically 13) Buy/Sell Button (Shortcut key : F1 for Buy and F4 for Sell) 3 1 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Figure 1 Order Tab 11 12 13 Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad Page 3
NEW TRADING HALL FEATURES 2. GENERAL TAB The General tab consists of the following features. (As shown in Figure 2) Figure 2 General Tab Pop up order done message The Trade Confirmation, as shown in Figure 2, is activated by default. - To deactivate this feature, simply untick the Pop up order done message checkbox. Figure 16 Order Panel Prompt unsaved price alert The Price Alert, as shown in Figure 3, is activated by default. - To deactivate this feature, simply untick the Prompt to unsaved price alert checkbox. Figure 3 General Tab Clear price & quantity value when switching Buy/Sell mode This feature which is activated by default, clears any order price and/or quantity entered at the point of switching from Buy mode to Sell mode or vice versa. - To deactivate this feature, simply untick the Clear price & quantity value when switching Buy/Sell mode checkbox. NEW TRADING HALL FEATURES 3. EXCHANGE TAB The General tab consists of the following features. (As shown in Figure 4), The Auto Price / Quantity feature which is deactivated by default does not require any manual entry. Both features will capture the 1 st until 5 th price or quantity respectively. Figure 4 Exchange Tab Auto Price The user may also click the price drop-down menu to select a price from the 1 + 5 best bid / offer prices as shown in Figure 5. - To activate this feature, simply tick the Auto Price checkbox. Figure 5 Order Tab Auto Quantity If the user clicks on the 2nd buy / sell price or quantity at the Market Depth panel, the system will automatically amalgamate the order quantity of 1st and 2nd buy / sell quantity respectively and populate the figure at the Order panel. The user may amalgamate all the 5 best buy/sell quantity in this manner. - To activate this feature, simply click the Quantity drop-down menu at the Exchange tab and select the Auto option. NEW TRADING HALL FEATURES 3. EXCHANGE TAB Custom - Quantity The Custom Quantity feature which is deactivated by default enables the user to customize the order quantity. To activate this feature, simply click the Quantity dropdown menu, select Custom and key in the value at the text box provided, as shown in Figure 7. It is advisable to use this feature discreetly. Figure 7 Exchange Tab 4. STOCK NEWS TAB To view the stock news of a particular stock (as shown in Figure 8), select the stock first, then access the Stock News panel and click the Load News button. Figure 8 Stock News Tab 5. GENERAL NEWS TAB To view the general news from Bursa Exchange (as shown in Figure 9) simply click the General News tab. 1.1 Place an Order Step 1: - 2 ways of selected the stock / counters. Option A: Highlighted the stock / counter. Type of Standard Process BUY / SELL orders. SELECT STOCK then Click Trade button Select your choice Figure 10 Trading Hall Or Option B: We provide you an easy and fast access to BUY / SELL orders function via double click on the mouse. 1.1 Place an Order Step 2: The screen will show the order you just selected. If you selected Buy order, then continue to key in Price, Quantity and Order Duration. Figure 12 Order Panel If you selected Sell order, then click Sell button and continue key in Price, Quantity and Order Duration. Figure 13 Order Panel Step 3: After completed the Price and Quantity, enter Your Trading Pin Then Click Buy / F1. The screen will show your order has been sent under processing. 1.1 Place an Order Step 4: The next turn, will prompt the Confirm Buy button. Click the Confirm Buy button to proceed with the transaction. Or else click the Back button to make changes to the quantity entered or click the reset icon (highlighted in red) to clear the data entered. Figure 15 Order Panel Upon confirming the order, a pop up order done message (Figure 16) will be reflected. This denotes that the order has been sent successfully to the broking house. Click the OK button to close the Trade Confirmation window. 1.2 CANCEL / REVISE ORDER Step 1: Select Order Status Then Click on Pending Orders. Figure 17 Trading Hall Step 2: If you would like to Change on PRICE, you need to CANCEL Order. 1.3 Check Order Status All status will show on today trading stock and also included Odd Lot Market Stock. In All Orders category, you will encounter 8 types of status: a) Pending Dealer Denotes that the order is pending at the Dealer / Remisier desk and awaits execution. b) Pending Exchange Denote that the orders had been sent and pending at the Exchange / BURSA. c) Matched Denotes that the order is completely executed and accept by BURSA for queuing and matching. d) Session Expired Denote that the session is expired. (Example, No match confirmation from BURSA) Session 1 (Morning) From 9am till 12.30pm --------------------------- Session 2 (Afternoon) From 2.30pm till 5pm e) Cancelled Denotes that the order is cancelled by own self. Kindly contact your Dealer / Remisier f) Rejected Denote that the order is rejected by Dealer / Remisier. 1.3 Check Order Status (Important Notice: There will be 2 types of option for Board Lot and Odd Lot Market. 1.4 Off-Trading Hours Order You may place an order after the BURSA trading markets hours. Step 1: Place an Online Trading Order for Buy / Sell (Refer to 1.1 Pg 7) Step 2: Then will appear a message box (Figure 27) Click Yes to proceed and continue with the order transaction Figure 27 Off-Trading Hours Step 3: Continue with the Place an Online Trading Order for Buy / Sell (Refer to 1.1 Pg 8) Step 4: Once the confirmation submitted, please check on every Order Status in Instructions (Refer to Figure 28 Pg 16) In Off Trading Hours category, you will encounter 3 types of status instructions such as a) Pending Instruction Orders Order Submitted during off-trading hours. GTD (Good Till Date) order will be included in Pending Instruction order. b) Deactivate Pending Instructions Once the pending order deactivated, the system will stop to regenerate the order for future sessions completed. (Example, the transaction orders will not be appeared the next Market trading day) c) View Cancelled Instructions An instruction will be cancelled automatically by the system on the following scenarios: - Insufficient fund (due to trading limits) - Limit price exceeded 30% of current market price Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad Page 15

1.5 MESSAGE RECEIVED IN TRADING HALL Example 1: Received message shown as Figure 34. Reason: On within the time limits without any movement of enquiry or online trading. This screen will be Idle for an security purpose or avoiding third party user to be access in your User ID. Solution: Kindly double click the idle screen and will continue back the Trading Hall.
