Terms & Conditions Overseas Travel Rewards with PB Visa Credit Card Promotion 1. The Travel Rewards with PB Visa Credit Card Promotion is valid from 20 April 2015 to 9 August 2015 (both dates inclusive) (the Promotion Period ). A. 8% Cash Back Promotion 1. This Promotion is open to all new and existing Public Bank, Public Islamic Bank Principal and Supplementary Visa Credit Cardmembers, including employees of the Public Bank Group, PB Subsidiaries, PB s advertising agencies and their immediate families ( PB Cardmembers ). 2. All new and existing Public Bank Debit Cardmembers are not entitled to participate in this Promotion. 3. To participate in this Promotion, a principal Visa credit cardmember is required to register his participation via a ONE (1) time Short Message Service (SMS) during the Promotion Period and send to 66300 in the following manner: Key in PBV<space>16-digit Principal Visa Credit Card number and send to 66300 (e.g. PBV 4553123412341234) Any SMS registration with a Supplementary Credit Card number shall not be accepted and shall be void. 4 The principal credit cardmember with multiple credit card is required to register only one principal credit card number once and thereafter, the amounts charged on all other credit cards and the supplementary card(s) shall be automatically tracked for the purpose of tabulation the Qualifying Retail Transactions. 5. The principal credit cardmember is responsible to ensure that the SMS details are complete, accurate and sent during the Promotion Period. Proof of SMS sent does not constitute a confirmation of receipt by the Bank.
6. A principal credit cardmember who successfully registers for the Promotion will receive a SMS confirmation from the Bank (the Participant ). A standard normal Telco Operator charges apply for each SMS registration and shall be fully borned by Participant. 7. In the event the SMS is incomplete/ invalid, an outgoing SMS will be sent to the principal credit cardmember, at no cost, to inform him to re-register via SMS. 8. The Bank will not be held responsible and reserves the absolute discretion to disqualify any registration from a supplementary cardmember, duplicate entries, incomplete/ inaccurate SMS, late entries, error message, unsuccessful registration due to network failure and/ or interruption experienced by a Telco Operator or for any reason whatsoever as the Bank may in its absolute discretion deem fit. 9. If the date and time of a successful SMS registration or transaction date and time captured in the Bank s system differs or a dispute arises as to when the registration took place, the Bank s system date and time shall prevail. 10. After the successful SMS registration, the Participants required to use any of his Public Bank principal credit cards in the following manner to qualify for the Cash Back payment under this Promotion:- 8% Cash Back The Participant must swipe his Public Bank principal credit card for an accumulative of RM1,000 and above in a week for overseas Qualifying Retail Transactions in any one participating week, during Promotion Period, beginning the 20th of April 2015, to qualify for the 8% Cash Back payment.
11. Public Bank will pay a maximum Cash Back payment of RM20,000 each participating week during the Promotion Period. The maximum Cash Back payment will not exceed RM100-00 each participating week per Participant on a first -come- first-serve basis. (1). Qualified Retail Transactions shall include all overseas retail spending, online purchases in foreign currency, exclude the transactions that earn Cash Back under other on-going Cash Back promotion, flexipay, balance transfer, auto-debit, recurring payments, payments for utilities, direct marketing, insurance premiums, government related payments, payment via www.pbebank.com and ATM, cash advance/ cash withdrawal, quasi cash, casino transaction, interest payments, late payment fees, finance charges, annual fees, reversals, payment to charity(ies) and any form of service/ miscellaneous fees. (2) Qualified Retail Transactions made by a Supplementary Cardmember shall be aggregated with the Participants and the total eligible Cash Back payment will only be credited into the Participant s credit card account only.
13. The tracking of Qualified Retail Transactions shall be based on transaction dates. 15. Split Qualified Retail Transactions are disallowed and shall be disqualified.
16. The Cash Back payment will be credited into the Participant s principal credit card account registered under this Promotion within 2-4 weeks after the end of each subsequent week and shall be reflected in the Participant s credit card statement, itemised under Overseas Travel Rewards with PB Visa Credit Card - Week 1 to 16. 17. In the event that after the Cash Back payment is credited into the Participant s credit card account, there is a reversal of entry made on any one of the Qualifying Retail Transactions, the Participant is required to reimburse the Bank the entire Cash Back payment credited into his account. 18. The Cash Back payment is non-transferable to any 3rd party and is nonexchangeable for up-front cash or kind. 19. The Cash Back payment will be in addition to the Cash Mega Bonus rewards and/or the Reward Points payable/ due to the Participant, if any. B. Royal Caribbean Cruise Contest 1. This Promotion is open to all new and existing Public Bank/ Public Islamic Bank Principal and Supplementary Visa Credit Cardmembers, excluding employees of the Public Bank Group, PB Subsidiaries, PB s advertising agencies and their immediate families ( PB Cardmembers ). 2. All new and existing Public Bank Debit Cardmembers are not entitled to participate in this Promotion. 3. 4. The Grand Prize is as follows:- Prize Royal Caribbean Cruise Vacation + USD 100 Shopping Credit No of Winners 10 couples (Winner with companion) 5. The Grand Prize winner will be selected based on the contest entries received and tracked by the system based on the pre-determined rule. The Grand Prize winners will be contacted by the Bank via telephone to answer ONE (1) question. Only upon correctly answering the questions, the Cardmembers will be declared as the Grand Prize winner. 6. The Qualified Retail Transactions shall include all overseas retail spending, online purchases and overseas cash advance and exclude flexipay, balance transfer, auto-debit, recurring payments, payments for utilities, direct marketing, insurance premiums, government related payments, payment via www.pbebank.com and ATM, quasi cash, casino transaction, interest payments, late payment fees, finance charges, annual fees, reversals, payment to charity(ies) and any form of service/ miscellaneous fees. 7. Qualified Retail Transactions made by a Supplementary Cardmember shall be aggregated with the Principal and the eligible Prizes will only be awarded to the Principal Cardmember. 8. Split Qualified Retail Transactions are disallowed and shall disqualified. 9. The Prizes will be awarded to the Principal Cardmember within 4-8 weeks after the end of Promotion Period.
10. The following Terms and Conditions apply to the Grand Prize. The winner will be entitled to select any Royal Caribbean cruises to the value of RM10,000 and for sailing period between November 2015 and December 2016. Should the selected sailing exceed the value of RM10,000, the additional amount will be borne by the winner. No refund will be entertained if the selected sailing is below the value of RM10,000. Each winner will also be entitled to a shopping credit (onboard credit) of USD$100. The shopping credit can be used onboard for shopping, shore excursions and specialty restaurant dining. If the shopping credit is not utilised by the last day of the sailing, this will be forfeited. Bookings must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the desired sailing dates. All sailings are subject to availability and confirmation. The prize is non-transferable to 3rd party and non- exchangeable for upfront cash or kind. Once bookings are done, amendments or cancellation charges apply. General Terms and Conditions 1. By participating in the Promotion, the Qualified Cardmember and the Participant shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions stated herein. The decision of the Bank shall be final, binding and conclusive. No correspondence, disputes and appeals will be entertained. The Bank shall notify the Qualified Cardmember of any changes, amendments, deletions or additions to these Terms and Conditions. 2. The Bank reserves the exclusive right to publish or display the names of the winners for advertising and publicity purposes.
5. The Terms and Conditions herein are in addition to and without prejudice to the Terms and Conditions stated in the Cardmember Agreement applicable to the Qualified Cardmember and the Participant s Card Account. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the said Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail in so far as they apply to the Overseas Travel Rewards with PB Visa Credit Card Promotion.
