Introduction Reviewing and managing investments online AdviserView s manage portfolios functionality allows you to maintain your bespoke portfolios and manage your clients quickly and efficiently. Edit existing portfolios Link multiple investments to a portfolio for reviewing, switching and rebalancing. Complete risk questionnaires and base the portfolio on a specific attitude to risk or build new portfolios with suggested asset allocation. Please refer to the Build portfolios user guide for more details. Use Old Mutual Wealth s research funds functionality to help select the funds. Please refer to the Research funds user guide for more details. Use a portfolio summary report for an audit trail on how the portfolio was built. Please refer to the Build portfolios user guide for more information. Access portfolio UScan reports for portfolios you create. Please refer to the UScan reports user guide for more information. 3
HOMEPAGE. From the homepage, hover over the manage portfolios tab to view further options. 2. select the review portfolios option to begin the process. 2 4
REVIEW PORTFOLIOS. search for a particular portfolio name and select Go. 2. Alternatively, filter the list of viewable portfolios using the drop down menus and press Go. 3. Choose the portfolio you wish to manage and select View. 4. To remove portfolios, select from the Delete column and click Delete to confirm. 2 4 3 5 Tip: Select how to view the portfolio list. You can choose page view (for one portfolio) or to view all portfolios on a single page. See arrow 5. 5
PORTFOLIO SUMMARY. if you have previously linked plans to your portfolio and wish to work with them, select Work with linked plans and skip to page 0 of this user guide. 2. To link client policies to a portfolio, select Work with unlinked plans and continue to the next page of this user guide. 2 6
WORK WITH UNLINKED PLANS. Tick the box next to policies you wish to link to the portfolio. 2. select Link and switch plans to switch and/or redirect investments into the new portfolio. Turn to the next page of this user guide to continue. 3. Alternatively, select Link without switching to link clients to the portfolio only. Current investments will not be switched to the new portfolio. Skip to page 0 of this user guide. 2 3 Note: Only policies that correspond to the portfolio product type will be displayed. 7
SWITCH LINKED PLANS. select Yes to confirm that you will be retaining a copy of the switch/redirection signed by your client and that you have FCA Managing Investments permission. 8
SWITCH LINKED PLANS (CONT.). Check all plans listed are linked to the correct portfolio. 2. Select next to continue. 3. On the next page, check funds and percentages are all correct and select next to continue. 2 3 9
SUBMIT YOUR INSTRUCTION. To confirm the instruction, select submit. 2. On the next page, select finish to end the process. 4 Notes: Select print-friendly summary if you wish to retain a hard copy of the instruction. (See arrow 3). WORK WITH LINKED PLANS. use the tick boxes within the rebalance to match portfolio or switch funds columns to select the plan(s) you wish to work with. 2. select Rebalance or Switch depending on how you wish to proceed and skip back to page 8 of this user guide. 3. To unlink any plan(s) within the portfolio, use the tick box(es) within the unlink column. 4. select Unlink to confirm and remove the selected plan(s). 5. select Back to summary to return to the portfolio summary page.
