Pre-65 retirees: See information about health care reform and the Health Insurance Marketplace on page 2. ABOUT THIS GUIDE: This Retiree Enrollment Guide describes the coverage that will be offered in 2014 to the majority of benefits-eligible retirees under the Plan. Your benefits eligibility will determine the coverage and premium that is offered to you, your spouse and/or your eligible child(ren). More details on benefits eligibility are available in the Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and Summary of Material Modifications (SMMs) online at www.rrdspdxpress.com, as well as the enrollment website at www.mybenefitsdirectory.com/rrd. You can also call a Benefits Center Representative at 1-877-RRD-4BEN (1-877-773-4236). IMPORTANT: The descriptions provided in this Retiree Enrollment Guide are based on official Plan documents. KEY THINGS TO KNOW This year s Annual Enrollment is 10 days long it runs from Wednesday, October 23 through Friday, November 1, 2013. This is the time to review your Retiree Medical Program and Retiree Prescription Drug Program benefits and then decide if your current elections will meet your needs for 2014. You need to take action during Annual Enrollment only if you want to change an election. Please share this guide with anyone who helps you make benefit decisions. Premiums for 2014 will increase for most retirees. For Medicare-eligible retirees only, 2014 premium increases are partially offset by Medicare Part D subsidies delivered through RR Donnelley s participation in the Employer Group Waiver Program (EGWP). See the enclosed Confirmation of Coverage statement for the exact premium information related to your retiree medical coverage elections. Action Required Only if You Want to Make a Change to Your Medical Election To keep your current Retiree Medical Program and Retiree Prescription Drug Program options and cover the same family members, do nothing.* Your 2013 option will automatically carry over to 2014, and you will pay the new 2014 premiums beginning January 1, 2014. This default election will be in effect from January 1 through December 31, 2014, unless you make changes during 2014. To review 2014 premiums for your current retiree medical coverage option, see the enclosed Confirmation of Coverage statement. * Medicare-eligible retirees: Please see page 3 of this Guide for important information about retaining your retiree medical and prescription drug coverage. Coming Soon: Online Beneficiary Designation for Retiree Life Insurance A new feature will soon be available for you to elect and update your beneficiary designations online for your Retiree Life Insurance. Later this year, you will receive more information from Aetna about the feature and your Retiree Life Insurance benefits. Who s Eligible The Retiree Medical Program and the Retiree Prescription Drug Program are offered to retired employees who meet certain age, service and participation requirements, as described in the Plan s Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and Summary of Material Modifications (SMMs). 1

Pre-65 Retirees: Information about Health Care Reform As a result of the health care reform changes taking effect in 2014, it is expected that everyone in the U.S. will be required to have health insurance in 2014 or pay a tax penalty. Amongst your options to meet this requirement is medical coverage through RR Donnelley. You may also be hearing in the media about the Health Insurance Marketplace. The Health Insurance Marketplace is made up of state-based websites where you can compare options and purchase coverage. It is expected that you will only be able to access the Marketplace online through a website or telephonically through a Navigator program. The enrollment process begins October 1, 2013, for coverage effective January 1, 2014. For more information about health care reform and the Health Insurance Marketplace, contact the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services at www.healthcare.gov or 1-800-318-2596. 2

PRESCRIPTION DRUG COVERAGE FOR MEDICARE-ELIGIBLE RETIREES As a Medicare-eligible retiree, your prescription drug benefits are provided by SilverScript (a subsidiary of Caremark) as part of the company-sponsored group Medicare Part D program. If you are currently enrolled, you should have received a mailing from SilverScript to your home that included an Annual Notice of Change and other information. When you first enroll, you will also receive a Summary of Medicare Part D Benefits and an Opt Out Notice. Do not opt out of SilverScript if you wish to retain retiree medical coverage through RR Donnelley. See below for more details. Because you are eligible for Medicare, you will also receive advertising from insurance companies encouraging you to enroll in their individual Medicare Part D plans. While you may wish to review their plan information, keep in mind your RR Donnelley retiree medical and prescription drug coverage will end if you enroll in an individual Medicare Part D plan. If you are eligible for Medicare and wish to be enrolled in the RR Donnelley Retiree Medical Program and Retiree Prescription Drug Program for 2014, here are some important things to keep in mind: Important Reminders Medicare will not allow you to be enrolled in an individual Medicare Part D plan and also participate in the RR Donnelley Prescription Drug Program with SilverScript. RR Donnelley retiree medical and prescription drug coverage are tied together. This means if you decline prescription drug coverage (i.e., opt out of the SilverScript Prescription Drug Program), you lose your RR Donnelley medical coverage. When you first enroll, you will receive a letter asking if you wish to opt out or cancel your coverage through SilverScript; you can ignore this letter. It is a required notice and includes Medicare-required wording, but you should disregard it if you want to retain retiree medical coverage. Once you are enrolled in RR Donnelley retiree medical and prescription drug coverage, it will end if you later elect an individual Medicare Part D plan. Ensure you have a valid Health Insurance Claim Number (HICN) on file with the Benefits Center, if you wish to be enrolled in RR Donnelley retiree medical and prescription drug coverage; this is also referred to as your Medicare claim number. If you are a new enrollee in the RR Donnelley Retiree Medical and Prescription Drug Program, also ensure you have an actual street address, not a P.O. Box, on file. Please call the Benefits Center if you are unsure of your address on file. Not Yet Eligible for Medicare? For RR Donnelley retirees and covered dependents not yet eligible for Medicare (typically those under the age of 65), prescription drug coverage is provided by CVS Caremark as part of your medical option. 3

Special Cost Considerations Avoid a late enrollment penalty by enrolling in a Medicare prescription drug plan or other creditable prescription drug coverage when you are first eligible. The penalty is 1% of the base premium for each month you were eligible but didn t have coverage. Visit www.medicare.gov for more information. If you qualify for the Extra Help Program to assist in paying your prescription drug coverage, you will also receive a Low Income Subsidy (LIS) rider along with your Confirmation of Enrollment letter (or your Annual Notice of Change, if you are already enrolled). If you are eligible for this subsidy, SilverScript will notify your benefits administrator, who will adjust your premiums accordingly. If your income is above a certain level, you are responsible to pay Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amounts (IRMAA) to Social Security. If you have questions about this extra amount, please call Social Security at 1-800-772-1213. About Medicare Prescription Drug Plans Medicare coverage is made up of various parts. If you are eligible for Medicare, you are covered by Medicare Part A (hospital care) and should be enrolled in Medicare Part B (physician services). Medicare Part D is voluntary prescription drug coverage. The annual enrollment period for Medicare Part D is October 15 December 7, 2013. For information on how Medicare Part D works, visit the Medicare website at www.medicare.gov or call Medicare customer service toll-free at 1-800-633-4227. For TTY assistance for the hearing impaired, call 1-877-486-2048. Tips on Using Your Prescription Drug Benefits Once you are enrolled in the RR Donnelley Retiree Prescription Drug Program, please keep in mind the following: You can purchase up to a 90-day supply of medication at retail, as long as you fill your prescription at a participating pharmacy. You cannot refill a retail prescription until 85% of your existing prescription has been used; for a mail-order prescription, you can refill when 75% of your existing prescription has been used. If you purchase diabetic testing supplies, please note: Using retail does not change your coverage or process to receive these supplies under the RR Donnelley Retiree Prescription Drug Program. And, as a reminder, you can purchase a 90-day supply at retail. If you use mail order, however, note SilverScript/CVS Caremark is not an authorized supplier. Due to Medicare requirements, you must use an authorized supplier for mail order or ask your doctor to submit your prescription for retail. If you have questions about prescription drug coverage, including participating pharmacies, you can contact SilverScript at 1-855-313-9445 or http://rrdonnelley.silverscript.com. 4

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: COORDINATION OF MEDICAL BENEFITS FOR MEDICARE-ELIGIBLE RETIREES Coordination of Benefits (COB) is used to prevent duplicate payments for the same expense when you have medical coverage from two sources (e.g., Medicare and RR Donnelley). The following guidelines determine which plan is primary that is, the plan that pays benefits first. If you are eligible for Medicare, then Medicare is primary over your RR Donnelley retiree medical coverage. Any other plan without a COB provision is always considered primary. If one or more plans have a COB provision, a plan that covers the individual as an active employee or a retiree is primary over a plan that covers the individual as a spouse or other dependent. Coordination with Medicare Here is how COB works when your other coverage is through Medicare Parts A and B (known as Medicare Carve-Out ): 1. The claims administrator for your RR Donnelley Post-65 coverage calculates what the Plan would have paid if it were providing primary coverage. 2. The claims administrator takes this amount and subtracts Medicare s actual payment for the claim. The balance is what your RR Donnelley Post-65 Plan will cover. The Plan pays nothing if Medicare s amount is larger or the same. 3. You (as the covered retiree) pay the remainder until you meet the Plan s annual out-of-pocket maximum. Note: If your spouse or you are Medicare-eligible and choose not to enroll in Medicare Part B, your Retiree Plan benefits are still determined as though you have coverage through both Medicare Parts A and B. Here Is How COB Works... Let s say your primary plan pays 70% of covered expenses, after the deductible. And let s say your secondary plan pays 80% of covered expenses, after the deductible. If the deductibles have been met under both plans, and you file a claim for $100, then: Your primary plan pays $70 (i.e., $100 x 70%) Your secondary plan pays $10 [i.e., ($100 x 80%) $70] Generally, however, the RR Donnelley Plan does not pay anything additional. For more details about coordination of benefits and detailed examples, see the Summary Plan Description at www.rrdspdxpress.com. 5

HOW TO MAKE CHANGES FOR 2014 If you want to keep your current RR Donnelley coverage for 2014, you don t need to act. But if you want to make changes to your current elections, here s what to do: STEP 1: Get Ready Register on www.mybenefitsdirectory.com/rrd if you haven t already. Have a new password sent to you if you ve forgotten yours. You need to request your password from the Benefits Center. If you don t have an e-mail address, you must allow up to 10 business days to receive your new password by U.S. mail so request it by October 10, if possible. Go online at www.mybenefitsdirectory.com/rrd to review your options. NEW security process!: When you log in, you will be prompted to choose and answer several questions and to register the device(s) you are using to access the website. See page 2 for more information. Note for non-medicare eligible individuals: When you visit the online enrollment system, you can see and elect your own medical program option, even if you are covered by a Medicare-eligible family member. Use the Health Plan Comparison Tool to compare your options and features, including costs, coverage and access. STEP 2: Enroll from Wednesday, October 23 through Friday, November 1, 2013 Log on to www.mybenefitsdirectory.com/rrd and link to Your Benefits Resources. When you re ready, follow the onscreen instructions to change your current elections or covered family members. Once you ve reviewed your changes, click Confirm and watch for the Completed Successfully message to appear on your screen. If you do not see this message, you did not complete your enrollment. Print a confirmation of your enrollment to keep for your records. If you have difficulties enrolling online, you may call the Benefits Center at 1-877-RRD-4BEN (1-877-773-4236) for assistance. You can speak to a Benefits Center Representative Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Phone enrollment ends at 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, November 1, 2013 (online enrollment ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time). A Note About ID Cards Medical: If the Account Number on your current Cigna ID card is 2463982, you will receive a new ID card that you should begin using January 1, 2014. Otherwise, you should continue using your current medical ID card unless you change coverage for 2014. Prescription Drugs: If you are pre-65 and have a prescription drug card from CVS Caremark or are post-65 and have a card from SilverScript, you should retain it if you did not make any changes to your elections. Only post-65 Medicare-eligible retirees and dependents who are new participants as of January 1, 2014 will receive a new prescription drug card from SilverScript. 6
