Introduction This report tracks capital raisings and debt issuance for AsiaPac REITs. It reveals: trends in equity and debt velocity; debt maturity profiles by sector; and, debt maturity schedules for individual funds by country. Key results Year-to-December 2017 2017 REITs capital raisings were marginally lower than the 10-year average (US$18.1b YTD versus average of US$19.1b); AsiaPac s 2017 equity raisings exceeded debt issuance, however, equity raised was marginally below its 10-year average(us$9.2n vs US$11.6b); Australia s 2017 debt issuance exceeded its 10-year average by approximately 3; and, 16.1% of AsiaPac REITs debt (US$17.3b) is due to mature in the next 12 months, with 54.3% (US$58.3b) to mature in the following five years.
