Guest speakers YBhg. Tan Sri A K Nathan Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director, Eversendai Corporation Berhad YBhg. Tan Sri A K Nathan Elumalay is the Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director as well as founder of Eversendai Corporation Berhad. He developed the company from a modest structural steel erection specialist in Malaysia into one of the world s leading integrated structural steel turnkey contractors. Under Tan Sri s leadership, the Eversendai Group has successfully completed the structural steel work for many high-profile global projects namely, Tower 2 of the Petronas Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia; the Burj Al Arab, Dubai Mall, Ski Dubai and Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE; Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi, UAE; and the New Doha International Airport in Doha, Qatar. Tan Sri has also been instrumental in establishing steel fabrication facilities in Rawang, Dubai, Sharjah, Doha and Trichy with a combined annual capacity of over 150,000 tonnes as well as a new waterfront fabrication facility in Ras Al Khaimah which will facilitate offshore and marine fabrication. Dr. Nungsari Ahmad Radhi Managing Director, Prokhas Sdn Bhd (former Executive Director, Khazanah Research and Investment Strategy) Dr. Nungsari Ahmad Radhi was appointed as the Managing Director of Prokhas on 1 September 2013. Prior to joining Prokhas, he was an Executive Director at Khazanah Nasional. In his career of almost 30 years, he has been an academic, a Member of Parliament, a consultant, a columnist, and a policy advocate. His professional interest is in microeconomic aspects of policy and strategy research. He is trained in economics and mathematics and holds a PhD from the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University. Tan Sri has won several notable industry awards which pay tribute to his contributions to the construction industry such as the Golden Construction Award 2008 from the Trade Leaders Club in Madrid, Spain, the Malaysian Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 from Ernst & Young as well as CEO of the Year Award in 2008 by CIDB. Today, Eversendai employs over 10,000 staff in 7 countries and operates out of 11 offices. 4

Sivaram Nagappan Head of Tax, Malaysia Airlines Berhad Manvinder Singh Vice President, Head of Group In-House Tax, Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad Sivaram Nagappan is the Head of Group Tax for Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), an Associate Member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He has more than 20 years of tax experience and prior to leaving the tax practice, he served with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young where he gained extensive experience from servicing clients which included large local corporations and multinationals in a wide spectrum of industries covering manufacturing, transportation, services, construction, telecommunication and trading. His involvement in tax engagements with local and foreign companies encompassed various aspects of tax planning strategies/schemes, restructuring of companies, mergers and acquisitions, cross border transactions, repatriation of profits, investment incentives, remuneration packages, tax audit and tax investigation. Manvinder Singh is currently the Head of Group Inhouse Tax of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd Group of Companies. His responsibilities entail provision of comprehensive tax compliance and advisory for the Group including the implementation of GST and Transfer Pricing advisory and compliance. He is also involved in providing tax advisory in numerous corporate restructuring and pre and post listing advisory of the Group. Prior to his current position, Manvinder was attached to the other Big 4 Public Accounting Firms and gained extensive experience in providing advisory and consultancy on cross border investments. He has presented seminars, workshops and trainings for regulatory bodies and organisations both locally and overseas. His passion for knowledge sharing also extends to conducting lectures in taxation papers for professional examinations in various colleges, institutes and local universities. Moderator Hsu Chuang has over 17 years of experience covering financial markets in Asia and Europe for The Edge, Bloomberg and Reuters. He is currently a co-host for a morning business and finance radio show at BFM 89.9 and a columnist for Focus Malaysia, a weekly financial newspaper in Kuala Lumpur. Deloitte speakers Yee Wing Peng Country Tax Leader Wing Peng has more than 20 years of experience in audit and tax, specialising in cross-border tax structuring, group tax planning, corporate tax restructuring and tax advisory. He is the Honorary Advisor (Taxation) to the Master Builders Association Malaysia and a MICPA examiner. Ang Weina Global Employer Services Leader Weina has over 20 years of experience and leads the Global Employer Services (GES) team on managing employer-employee tax regulatory and advisory matters including international immigration solutions. She has spoken at GES conferences in Europe, USA and Asia and is an appointed mentor in the National Women In Leadership Programme under the Economic Transformation Programme. Michelle Lai Global Employer Services Director Michelle manages the Global Employer Services (GES) line. She has more than 10 years of experience in personal income tax, advisory and consultancy matters related to employer/employee tax regulatory matters. Tan Hooi Beng International Tax Leader Hooi Beng has more than 14 years of experience in tax, specialising in tax compliance, tax advisory, and restructuring. Sim Kwang Gek Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Leader Kwang Gek has over 18 years of experience in providing tax and business consulting services and currently leads the M & A tax practice in Malaysia. She has been involved in various assignments such as restructuring of operations, mergers and acquisitions, incentive evaluation and applications, inbound and cross border investments and has led the Malaysian M & A tax practice to be recognised as Tier 1 Tax Transactional Firm by International Tax Review 2015. Chow Kuo Seng Business Tax Audit & Investigation Leader Kuo Seng has more than 30 years of experience in tax audits and back duty investigations. His experience in A&I controversy management includes providing tax advisory/ consultancy and managing compliance work for local and multinational companies as well as high net-worth individual clients and prudential audit review for tax risk management purposes. Kuo Seng was awarded the Malaysian Tax Controversy Leader in the International Tax Review 2015. Chee Pei Pei Financial Services Industry Leader Pei Pei has more than 20 years of tax experience with client engagements from MNCs and companies listed on the KLSE. Her industry focus in banking and insurance has led to advisory and consultancy on financial investment products like private equity funds via limited partnership, structured warrants, Basel III Tier 1, subordinated loan arrangements in addition to GST implementation in financial institutions. She has also been involved in GST implementation work for multinational clients in both manufacturing, trading and services related companies in addition to corporate tax planning and restructuring. Theresa Goh Transfer Pricing Leader Theresa has over 23 years of tax experience and currently leads the national Transfer Pricing (TP) team. She was instrumental in shaping Malaysia's first and only three advance pricing arrangements to date. Her expertise in transfer pricing has garnered a slew of international recognitions, most recently International Tax Review 2015 Malaysian Tax Controversy Leader. 8

Ian Clarke Transfer Pricing Executive Director Ian has over 15 years of experience in Transfer Pricing. He has experience on policy design, implementation review, documentation and controversy management for clients across a wide range of industry sectors. He also has a particular interest in optimizing the pricing of risk in the value chain. Ian leads Deloitte SEA s Financial Services TP team and Deloitte s Asia-Pac TP economists network on Finance. He also has extensive experience of negotiation with many leading tax authorities, including the US, UK, India, South Africa and Australia. Hisham Halim Transfer Pricing Executive Director Hisham has over 18 years of experience, previously based in the United Kingdom and Australia, and a 3 year stint in a global energy resource MNC, specialising in transfer pricing. In his initial years upon his return to Malaysia in 2009 with a government linked investment company, Hisham focused on driving and implementing several national level strategic initiatives. At present, Hisham's expertise in transfer pricing includes transfer pricing documentation, planning and audits in MNCs and across industries in particular energy and resources. His forte also extends into supply chain, business model optimisation and organisational transformation. Robert Tsang Asia Pacific Indirect Tax Leader Robert is the Head of the Deloitte Indirect Tax practice for Asia Pacific. He is experienced in dealing with indirect tax issues around the globe, and draws specifically on work he has done in Greater China and in the European Union. He specialises in helping companies to manage tax risks arising from cross-border operations. Tan Eng Yew Indirect Tax Leader Eng Yew has over 20 years of experience in the areas of customs, excise, sales, service tax and GST. He currently advises clients on various indirect tax matters, including impact on proposed transactions, indirect tax reviews & due diligences and client representation with the relevant tax authorities. Bruce Hamilton GST Director Bruce has over 30 years of work experience in indirect tax providing a wide range of advisory services for various industries in Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Value Added Taxes (VAT). He assists clients with the GST consequences of transaction planning, merger and acquisition issues, and due diligence requirements and has advised internationally on the GST issues associated with a number of major infrastructure projects. He has also been involved in taking a number of GST related matters to court, and is currently preparing Appeals to the GST Tribunal in Malaysia. Senthuran Elalingam GST Director Senthuran is a qualified lawyer from Australia, and has over 12 years experience in advising on GST matters. His prior experience includes working with the ATO managing GST disputes and appeals matters, including matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (the Australian equivalent to the GST Tribunal), the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Bruce has been called upon by the Ministry responsible to train the legal officers, prosecutors and judges who will be responsible for adjudicating on the Anti-Profiteering Regulations. 10
