Overview Finance 2015-16 Finance Overview Purpose The purpose of the IPEDS Finance component is to collect basic financial information from items associated with the institution's General Purpose Financial Statements. There are a few new changes to the 2015-16 Finance data collection. A new FAQ clarifying how to report VA education benefits has been added for all institutions. For GASB institutions, a new pension screen (Part M) has been added to accommodate the implementation of GASB Statement 68. Please review the new screen and survey materials carefully. Additionally, instructions for parts J,K,L have been slightly modified and FAQs have been added for clarity.
