Investors remain concerned whether the Greece and its creditors will reach an agreement to avoid a debt default. The S&P 5 and the Dow indices ended the trading session flat. On the other hand, the Nasdaq advanced.3% pulled up by Apple Inc, the index s biggest component, which rose 2.3%. European markets edged down on Wednesday as investors await a crucial meet which will decide on the future of financial aid to Greece. The CAC and the FTSE 1 indices ended the trading session down.35% and.2% respectively. The DAX 3 index ended the session flat. Most GCC markets ended lower on Wednesday as oil prices fell further on the expectations that oversupply in the World would persist. Dubai edged down.6% on Emaar Properties and Arabtec which slipped % and 1.9% respectively. The index of Kuwait slipped %. Abu Dhabi inched down.1% on banking stocks. On the other hand, Oman and Qatar indices rose.% and.2% respectively on positive news from banks. Asian markets are trading mixed this morning as investors continued to keenly observe the developments in negotiations between Greece and its international creditors. A further fall in crude prices and a flat finish in Wall Street negatively impacted the markets. The KOSPI and the Shanghai Composite indices are trading lower.% and.15% respectively. On the other hand, the Nikkei is trading up 1.% on weak Yen. The Hang Seng is trading.6% higher. TASI falls for the second day Major News Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1.79%on Wednesday to close at 9,133.7 losing 166. points. Only one out of the fifteen sector indices closed higher. Moreover, the advance decline ratio was 16/13. Trading turnover was around SAR.7bn. Among the heavy weight sectors, Petrochemical Industries dropped 2.7%, ing down 9%, and Telecom fell.9%. Among other sectors, Industrial Investment and Building & Construction plunged by 2.97% and 2.91% respectively, while Energy & Utilities sector gained 1.33%. Jarir mulls investing SAR 1.1bn in next period: Jarir Marketing Co. (JMC) said it looks forward to a promising future through its commitment to offering high-quality products and services. The Tadawul-listed company said it will implement development plans in all segments to boost performance and maintain growth. Jarir said in the board s FY1 report that it will expand in the region through investing more than SAR 1.1 billion in the next four years, adding that it seeks to increase the number of its branches to 6 by 21. (Mubasher) Saudi Wholesale Price Index up.7%: The wholesale price index for January 215 rose by.7%, compared to the same period of 21. According to the report of the Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI), the sector of miscellaneous manufactured goods rose by 3.%, followed by food and live animals (+2.5%), then beverages and tobacco (+2.%) and chemicals and related products (+2.2%).
