He formerly ran the financial services tax practice, as a partner, for a National CPA firm. He has 24 years of overall experience providing tax advisory and compliance services to various clients. Warren has extensive skill representing high net worth individuals, as well as various hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, fund-of-funds, broker/dealers, investment management companies, and Registered Investment Advisers. He has extensive experience working with high-net-worth individuals and trusts, as well as, traditional partnerships, corporations (both public and private). He provides business consulting, planning (Federal, state and estate), and compliance services to all types of financial services industry clients and General Partners. He has broad experience across the financial services industry and has worked with start-up managers as well as multi-billion dollar managers. Warren represents many clients that been selected for audit by the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. He has also developed complex tax-efficient structures, including domestic and offshore funds/blockers, consolidated returns, qualified subchapters S subsidiaries, and limited liability companies. Michael Oates Partner, Tax T: 973-315-2664 E: michaeloates@kpmg.com Michael is a tax partner based in the NY Office and has served as a KPMG s Hedge Fund Industry Leader for tax. He has over 30 years of alternative investment fund experience and has helped many clients build very successful alternative investment businesses. Michael specializes in many areas of tax research and planning within the Alternative Investments Industry. Michael often consults with investment funds on initial organizational structure to ensure maximum tax efficiency. He also provides ongoing tax advice throughout the business and economic cycles on operational matters. Prior to joining KPMG in July 2014, Michael was with Rothstein Kass for over 30 years. Michael headed the National Tax Practice at Rothstein Kass and Company, P.C. with over 300 tax professionals and also served on the Executive Committee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) in which he serves on its Financial Instruments and Transactions Committee. He is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and previously served as president of the Bergen Chapter. Michael is frequently requested to lecture on a variety of tax-related issues at major industry conferences, seminars and professional associations. Kristen Stinson Managing Director, Tax T: 973-315-2687 E: kristenstinson@kpmg.com Kristen, a certified public accountant, is a managing director with KPMG and manages the Short Hills office s High-Net-Worth Individual and Investment Management Company Tax Services Group within the Alternative Investment Industry practice. She has over 17 years of experience providing tax advisory and compliance services to various clients. Kristen has extensive skills in representing individual owners as well as various investment management companies. She has wide-ranging experience working with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, private foundations, as well as traditional partnerships. She provides tax consulting, planning, and compliance services to financial services industry clients and general partners. She has worked with start-up managers as well as multibillion-dollar managers.

Claudio De Vellis Partner Kleinberg, Kaplan, Wolff & Cohen, P.C. Claudio A. De Vellis represents individual and charitable organizations in connection with their tax and wealth preservation issues. He advises clients on all aspects of estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, structuring tax-efficient business succession plans, creating qualified and non-qualified retirement plans and implementing asset protection strategies. Claudio s practice includes all aspects of estate planning, from drafting wills and trusts, to forming business entities, to counseling clients on the income, estate and gift tax treatment of charitable giving. He also advises individual and corporate fiduciaries in connection with the administration of estates and trusts and represents clients in disputes arising out of the administration of estates and trusts. Claudio provides a wide range of business and tax planning services to closely held business owners. Claudio is also a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to becoming an attorney, he practiced with a regional accounting firm based out of New York City for seven years. He has extensive experience preparing and analyzing business financial statements; preparing individual, corporate and partnership income tax returns; preparing estate and gift tax returns and preparing fiduciary accountings and fiduciary income tax returns. Claudio has also represented individual and corporate clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance on various tax matters. Sandy Geyelin, CFA Senior Managing Director Lombard International Sandy Geyelin joined Lombard International in May 2004 and is a Senior Managing Director within the Sales & Marketing function. In his role, he works with internal and external sales partners to execute on business development opportunities. Prior to joining Lombard International, Mr. Geyelin worked for Bank of America Securities on the Equity and Convertible Securities Capital Markets desk. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Virginia. He is currently licensed for life, variable products and holds Series 7, 26 and 63 securities registrations. Mr. Geyelin is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia.

Bob Gordon President Twenty-First Securities Corporation Robert N. Gordon is the president of Twenty-First Securities Corporation, which he founded in 1983. Since 1991, Mr. Gordon has served as an adjunct professor at New York University s Graduate School of Business, teaching one course on Arbitrage theories and another titled Taxes and Investing. He has been involved with the Wharton School s Securities Industry Institute since 1979, starting as a student, becoming a lecturer in 1983, and serving as chairman in 1994 and 1995. Mr. Gordon has had many roles at the Securities Industry Association, having served as an SIA director, as treasurer, as chairman of the Tax Policy Committee and chairman of the New York District. He is on the Board of the John Carter Brown Library at Brown University, on the Board of and Chair of the Collections Committee of the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. Mr. Gordon is the author (with Jan Rosen) of Wall Street Secrets for Tax Efficient Investing and author or coauthor of chapters in Tax Planning for the Affluent, Market Shock and Harold Evensky s The Investment Think Tank. He has published many articles on tax, arbitrage and hedging strategies. He serves on the editorial advisory boards of Derivatives Report, The Journal of Taxation and Investments and The Journal of Wealth Management. Mr. Gordon is routinely quoted in the popular press on investing topics and is a frequent lecturer for organizations such as the CFA Society and IMCA. Before founding Twenty-First Securities, Mr. Gordon was a partner at Oppenheimer & Company. Philip Gross Partner Kleinberg, Kaplan, Wolff & Cohen, P.C. Phil Gross chairs the firm s Tax Department and advises clients on the taxation (federal, state, local and international) of hedge funds and private equity funds, including domestic funds, offshore funds, and funds-of-funds and real estate funds. Phil counsels clients on structuring (and restructuring) funds, structuring investment managers and general partners, compensating managers and employees, investing in funds and seeding managers, and on the taxation of financial instruments. Steven Zeiger Waxman Lawson Financial M Financial Group Steven plays a central role in advancing Waxman Lawson Financial leadership in the Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) marketplace and is in charge of the Firm s expansion in the NY, NJ and CT area. He also works with clients and their advisors to implement M proprietary life and disability products since off-the-shelf products may not meet the needs of Ultra High Net Worth Clients. He advises both domestic and international families and their advisors on the efficient use of private placement life insurance and annuities to help enhance after tax yields on their investments. He is a successful marketer and relationship manager with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has been published in and cited in Trust & Estates Magazine. He has addressed the American Bankers Association.
