INTRODUCTORY SERIES 2016 A-Z OF INSOLVENCY This series of seminars will provide a broad groundwork in the principles of insolvency. You will gain a thorough overview of the main insolvency principles and processes, covering a range of insolvency procedures, both personal and corporate. Refreshed for 2016, this series will consist of fi ve one day seminars split over a four month period, providing you with the fl exibility and timely training needed in order to enhance your development and preparation in insolvency. Each seminar will concentrate on a particular area of insolvency highlighting topics of interest and technical focus within an interactive setting. The fi rst day of the series will focus on an introduction to insolvency as well as noninsolvency issues, including a selection of insolvency processes, creditors rights, corporate life cycle and bank debt. London only Day One Introduction to Insolvency and Non-Insolvency Issues 6 September Day Two Introduction to Personal Insolvency 20 September Day Three Introduction to Rescue 11 October Day Four Introduction to Liquidations 8 November Day Five Liquidations continued and Partnership Insolvency 6 December The second day of the series will focus solely on personal insolvency such as bankruptcy and individual voluntary arrangements. You will be given a detailed overview of insolvency rescue including company voluntary arrangements, creditors meetings and administrations during the third day of this series. Liquidations will be examined throughout the fourth day of the series and will continue into the fi fth and fi nal day, due to the vast amount of detail that will be covered. Partnership insolvency will also be covered during the fi fth day of the series. Speakers will use practical examples and case studies to illustrate how the main UK insolvency procedures work in practice and you will be presented with detailed topic notes with references to the relevant legislation as part of this series programme.
