Our policy includes fiixed benefits with pre-determined levels of cover for: An accident or sickness which prevents a player engaging in his/her usual occupation as a footballer. Accidental death. We also automatically include the following key benefits: Two year claim notification period. No rehabilitation clause*. Proportionate benefit clause**. Are there any exclusions? There are minimal policy exclusions: No cover available over 35 years of age. Any pre-existing arthritic or degenerative conditions. Being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Committing or attempting to commit suicide. Full policy terms and conditions are available upon request. * No rehabiliation clause means there is no set period over which a player is deemed to have made a recovery. ** Proportionate benefit clause means claims are covered if degeneration plays a part but is not the root cause of disablement.
