ELIGIBILITY. Win a Trip to the 2015 IAAF World Relay Championships in the Bahamas ( Sweepstakes ) is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 (except 19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi) years of age or older at the time of entry ( Entrant ). Employees of Sponsor, Crowd Twist, Inc. and any of their respective parents and affiliate companies as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children), regardless of where they reside, and household members of each such employees are not eligible to enter. In addition, Entrants must have a valid United States passport good through October 15, 2015 in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any costs associated with the Entrant obtaining a valid United States passport. The Sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. 2. TIMING. The Sweepstakes begins at 2:00 pm on March 18, 2015 and ends at 11:59 pm on April 15, 2015 (the "Entry Period"). For the purposes of this Sweepstakes the times indicated in these rules are based on Eastern Time Zone and a day ("Day") is defined as a calendar day 1
beginning at 12:00:01 a.m. and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. Sponsor s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. 3. HOW TO ENTER ONLINE. You must be a member of USATF Rewards and have a minimum of 100 wings in your account in order to enter the Sweepstakes online. If you are not currently a member of USATF Rewards, visit rewards.usatf.org and follow the on screen directions to become a member. No purchase or payment is required in order to become a member of USATF Rewards. You will automatically receive 10,000 wings just for joining USATF Rewards. You will be required to provide your name, zip code and e-mail address in order to join USATF Rewards. Membership in USATF Rewards is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Program: USATF Rewards_TERMS_OF_SERVICE. After you have registered for USATF Rewards, visit rewards.usatf.org (the Sweepstakes Website ) and follow the on screen directions to redeem your wings for an entry (each an Entry, collectively the Entries ). Your USATF Rewards account will be reduced by 100 wings for each Online Entry you submit. Online Entries must be received no later than 11:59 pm on April 15, 2015. Subject to wing availability, unlimited entries per person are permitted per entry period. Entries received from any person or email address or household in excess of any wings limitations will be void. Use of any automated system to enter is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an Entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to submit the Entry will be deemed to be the Entrant. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the 2
submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof that he/she is the authorized account holder. HOW TO ENTER BY MAIL: On a 3" x 5" piece of paper, hand-print your name, complete address, telephone number (including area code), date of birth and email address (optional), and mail it in an envelope with proper postage affixed to: Win a Trip to the 2015 IAAF World Relay Championships in the Bahamas! c/o USA Track & Field, 132 E Washington St., Ste 800 Indianapolis, IN 46204. All mail-in entries must be received by Sponsor by April 15, 2015 in order to be considered. For each mailed in entry, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Limit: one (1) entry per envelope. Each participant may submit one (1) entry per calendar day. All Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for postage due, lost, late, stolen, damaged, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, garbled, delayed or misdirected Entries. Once submitted, all Entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor, and will not be returned. 4. POTENTIAL WINNER SELECTION. Sponsor will conduct a random drawing on or about April 16, 2015 to select one (1) potential winner (each a Potential Winner, collectively the Potential Winners ) from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period. By entering, you grant permission to be contacted by Sponsor via email or telephone in connection with the Sweepstakes. You must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules. If you are named as a Potential Winner, you are not an official winner ( Winner ) until your eligibility has been verified and you have been notified that verification is complete. Sponsor will not accept 3
screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. If Sweepstakes Website fails for any reason, any Entry received during that time will be deemed a defective Entry. 5. VERIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS. Each Potential Winner and guest may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (unless prohibited) (collectively an "Affidavit"), which must be received by Sponsor within three (3) days of the date on the notice. If a Potential Winner cannot be contacted, fails to execute and return the Affidavit within the required time period, prize is returned as undeliverable, or he/she refuses his/her prize for any reason, Potential Winner forfeits the prize and Sponsor may select another Potential Winner by random drawing, if time permits. 6. PRIZE/ODDS. Enter for a chance for you and a guest to attend the 2015 IAAF World Relay Championships in the Bahamas from April 30, 2015 to May 4, 2015. Winner and a guest will receive roundtrip coach airfare from a major international airport near the Winner s home (as determined by Sponsor), a double occupancy hotel room for four (4) nights, local ground transportation in the Bahamas (as determined by Sponsor), two (2) general admission tickets to attend the 2015 IAAF World Relay Championships. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary, and must comply with all security requirements. Approximate retail value ( ARV ) of prize: $2250.00. Odds of winning are based on the total number of eligible Entries received. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of any prize permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with cash or another prize of comparable or greater value. Prizes will be awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied offered by Sponsor. Winner is responsible for all expenses on the receipt and use of a 4
prize, and all federal, state, and local taxes and fees associated with a prize. Winner and guest are responsible for having valid travel documents including government identification and/or passports. Prize will not be replaced if lost or stolen and is the sole responsibility of Winner. Should the Winner elect to travel or partake in the prize trip with no guest, no additional compensation will be awarded to the Winner. Air transportation and hotel accommodations must be taken together and cannot be taken separately. No changes will be made to travel details once any element(s) of the travel arrangements have been booked, except at Sponsor s sole discretion. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with Prize are not eligible for upgrades, frequent flyer miles, or any other promotional benefit. Travel must be round-trip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. Limit: One (1) prize per person/household. 7. Publicity. Except where prohibited by law, your acceptance of a prize in the Sweepstakes constitutes your consent for Sponsor to use your name, username/online alias, likeness, hometown and state and biographical information for promotional purposes in any media, without further payment or consideration. 8. Release. By accepting a prize, you agree to indemnify Sponsor and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parents and affiliate companies and each such company s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the Released Parties ) from and against any losses, damages, rights, claims or causes of action of any kind (collectively Losses ), that Released Parties may incur in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of your participation in the Sweepstakes or 5
from your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Sweepstakes. 9. GENERAL CONDITIONS. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Sweepstakes and to award the prizes at random from among the eligible Entries received up to the time of the impairment. No more than the stated number of prizes in these Official Rules will be awarded. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or who acts in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. 10. WARNING. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. 11. LIMITED LIABILITY. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Entrant, by printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited, to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in telephone lines or 6
network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any aspect of the Sweepstakes; (4) printing, typographical, technical, computer, network or human error which may occur in the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related matter or materials; or (5) any injury or damage to you or to other persons or property which may be caused from your participation in the Sweepstakes and/or your downloading of any materials related to this Sweepstakes. If for any reason your Entry is confirmed to have been erroneously lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, your sole remedy is another Entry in the Sweepstakes. 12. DISPUTES. Except where prohibited, by participating, you agree that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court or the appropriate Indiana State Court located in Indianapolis, Indiana; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for and you hereby waive all rights to claim indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Indiana, without giving 7
effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Indiana or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Indiana. 13.
