Equifax Data Subject Access Request Credit reference agencies Credit reference agencies like Equifax provide two types of subject access request, a limited subject access request, which is in the form of a statutory credit report, and a full subject access request. Statutory credit report The statutory credit report (limited subject access request) provides consumers with the information held by Equifax that is used by lenders when they make decisions about providing credit, e.g mobile phone contracts, mortgages, loans etc. You can access your statutory credit report online now by going to www.equifax.co.uk/statutory. Alternatively you can contact our customer service team to request that your credit report be posted to you. It will arrive within seven working days Full subject access request A full subject access request includes your statutory credit report as well as any other personal information held about you by Equifax, such as: Your Equifax membership and contact history Equifax marketing services Equifax identity verification Equifax employee or internal (where applicable) Equifax customer service and membership (including legal and compliance files) Equifax commercial / sole-trader A full subject access request can take up to one month to be processed. You may be required to provide proof of your identity to Equifax to complete this request. It may speed up your request if you enclose a copy of the following documents with your completed form: One address based document (such as a bank statement or utility bill) dated within the past three months One form of Government ID, such as a passport or driving license. Completing this form This application form contains editable fields so you don't need to print and fill the form in by hand. To complete the form, click on each field and type the information required, then when you're finished, save a copy to your device.
