P a g e Resolutions for Council 016 Each year the NSTU holds its AGM (Annual Council) in the Spring, and this is a very important opportunity for our organization to consider changes to our policies, by-laws, budget and structure. Annual Council 016 will be held from April 9 to May 1. Although this seems like it may be very far away in the future, it will creep up on us sooner than you think. Also, as you can understand, resolutions need to be sent in to our provincial team well before the actual event. So, this year our Local will have to vote on our resolutions at our November meeting. If you have any thoughts or ideas how we can improve how/what we are doing as an organization, please share those with me. Don t worry about the exact language required for resolutions. Just fire off an email to me so we have the basic concept. Send your ideas to: dartmouthlocal@nstu.ca Check You Pay Stub! Members are reminded to check their pay stubs to ensure they are being paid accurately and their deductions do not exceed the allotted amount. Any errors should be reported to payroll immediately.
