Exhibitor Prospectus 2018 Social and Emotional Learning Conference: Building Skills for Lifelong Success May 9 and 10, 2018 Harrisburg, PA Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions (www.casel.org). Several hundred well-designed studies have documented that wellplanned and well-implemented SEL programming can positively affect a broad range of student social, health, behavioral, and academic outcomes. The 2018 SEL Conference will feature national experts who will share the latest research and promising practices in supporting children s social, emotional and character development. Effective program models will be explored as well as best practices for climate improvement and student engagement. This conference is open to school administrators, school psychologists, school counselors, social workers, youth development workers, early childhood professionals, student support specialists, staff who serve on SAP teams, alternative education teachers, homeless liaisons, foster care points of contact and other professionals who work on behalf of children and youth. Approximately 500 attendees from all over the country are expected to attend. Exhibitors will include federal, state and local governmental agencies, for-profit and non-profit organizations that are serving or providing resources that promote the social, emotional and character development of children, youth and families. Exhibitor Application deadline: April 6, 2018 This is a direct exposure opportunity for you to interact and discuss your services and/or products with your target market of educators, administrators and other children and youth professionals. It offers a great networking opportunity to meet other service providers and prospective customers. All organizations must complete the application process in order to be considered as an exhibitor. The Center for the Promotion of Social and Emotional Learning (CPSEL) reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any organization to be an exhibitor. Fees Governmental Agencies Federal, state and local governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations may reserve one exhibitor table at no cost on a space available basis. No-cost tables will be located near the Pennsylvania Ballroom and meals are on your own. Non-Profit Organizations 1 table $250 (includes meals for up to two representatives) For-Profit Businesses 1 table $500 (includes meals for up to two representatives) 2 tables $1000 (includes meals for up to four representatives) The following will be provided: One skirted, draped 6 table Two chairs Waste basket Complimentary wireless internet access is available throughout the exhibit area Electricity is available at select tables; please indicate your needs on the application and we will do our best to accommodate your request Exhibitors confirmed by April 6, 2018 will be included on an exhibitors listing given to attendees There may be costs for any optional setup requests: phone, internet access (other than wireless), etc. You will be contacted to confirm needs and costs (if any). All exhibitors can set up their displays on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 starting at 8:30 AM. Conference registration and exhibit exploration will begin at 11:00 AM. All exhibits must be removed by 5:00 PM on May 10, 2018. Additional information will be provided with the official exhibit confirmation. Exhibitor Giveaway In order to create some additional motivation for attendees to take the time to stop by your table, we are hosting a prize drawing during the closing session. Increase your visibility and donate a giveaway item. Conference attendees must visit the booths of participating exhibitors to earn entries for prizes donated by participating exhibitors. Exhibitors may provide one or more giveaway item(s). We request that each prize is valued at $50 minimum (e.g., one item valued at $50 or more; or a few items grouped together which are valued at $50 or more and offered together as one prize). Please send a high resolution logo (300 dpi) to CPSEL@csc.csiu.org after you have completed the registration and payment process. Your logo will be displayed on the screen when your prize is being announced.

Location, Lodging, Parking & Directions Location One North Second Street Harrisburg, PA 17101 (717) 233-6000 Lodging Exhibitors are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements. A limited block of rooms will be available at a discounted rate. Details will be available on the conference webpage soon. Parking Parking is available at a discounted rate of $5 for a maximum of ten (10) hours (rates may be subject to a $2 increase) at the, Walnut Street Garage, 215 Walnut Street. Visit the hotel front desk on the first floor or the business center on the second floor to receive the discounted rate. Directions Certificate of Insurance Upon completion of the registration process: Self-insured entities, such as state agencies, are exempt from providing a certificate of insurance All other entities must submit a certificate of insurance (see requirements below) Certificate of Insurance Requirements Applicants must provide: OR Event liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate Standard liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate AND All insurance certificates shall list the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit as an additional insured All certificates must be signed by a licensed insurance broker or insurance representative Sub-limits shall not be less than the per occurrence limit amount required Print this page and give to your insurance company and they will provide you with the required paperwork. ADA Accommodations Participation by all individuals is encouraged. Advance notice of any special needs will help us provide better service. Delay, Cancellation & Refund Policy Delay and Cancellation of the Event Due to inclement weather (snow, ice, flooding, etc.) or other emergencies, events may be delayed or cancelled. Exhibitors are responsible for calling the Center for Schools and Communities Automated Voice Messaging System at (717) 763-1661, option 3 after 6:30 AM the day of the event. The system is updated as conditions change, so it is necessary to call for any changes prior to leaving for your scheduled event. Cancellation and Refund Policy 1. Refunds (minus a $25 administrative/processing fee) will be granted to exhibitors who cancel their registration by contacting Debby Barry at dbarry@csc.csiu.org, fifteen (15) business days prior to the event. 2. Refunds will not be provided to exhibitors who neither cancel nor attend the event. Confirmed exhibitors who are unable to attend the event may send a substitute in their place at no additional cost. Substitution information must be received no less than two (2) full business days before the start of the event. Contact Debby Barry at dbarry@csc.csiu.org to submit substitution details. 3. The Center for the Promotion of Social and Emotional Learning reserves the right to cancel any event fifteen (15) business days prior to the event date if the minimum number of participants has not been met. If the Center cancels an event, exhibitors will receive a full refund. Please be sure you have read and understand the exhibitor prospectus completely before submitting the exhibitor application. When your application, certificate of insurance, and payment (if applicable) are received, you will receive an email confirming your participation as an exhibitor. Additional details about setup onsite and logistics will be sent via email two weeks prior to the conference.
