Auditorium Warranty It is warranted that the Insured shall carry out a thorough examination of the premises insured hereunder for smouldering matches, tobacco and the like at the close of business each day and for signed reports to be made thereon daily by the employee or employees detailed to make the examination and for such reports to be checked at least weekly by management. It is further understood and agreed that ashtrays and the like be emptied into a lidded metal bin and the bin be removed from the building at the close of business. Bedsit Warranty It is warranted that cooking outside of any designated kitchen area be limited to the uses of microwave ovens, infa-red grills and other such appliances not producing a naked flame or radiant heat panel. Combustible Materials Warranty It is warranted that in respect of loss or damage caused by fire that storage of combustible materials is prohibited within 10 metres of building. Composite Panels Warranty (in respect of Non Food Industry Risks) a) All buildings which have composite panels to any degree, must have as a minimum, a LPC approved automatic smoke detection system with off site signalling via BT Redcare, or to a permanently manned security station on site. b) Insured must have a programme, either in place or a definite commitment, to Portable Appliance Testing (P.A.T) procedure and fixed electrical installations must be subject to full inspections and test, by a qualified contractor, on a three year programme. All wiring passing through panels must be encased in metal conduit and sealed with rubber grommets. c) When services, which pierce any composite panels, are removed, the openings must be capped in metal. d) All ductwork passing through composite panels must be sleeved in non combustible material. e) As part of a preventative maintenance programme, thermo graphic testing must be carried out annually, if specifically requested by Insurers. f) A Disaster Recovery plan is in place. g) Outside storage of crates/pallets and the like to be a minimum of 6m, or 1.5m more than the stack height (whichever is the greater) from building line, and metal skips used for waste storage must be a minimum of 5m from building line and should, preferably be of the closed top/secured type. h) Battery chargers must not be suspended from composite panels. i) A Hot Work Permit system must be in operation. e) All ductwork passing through composite panels must be sleeved in non combustible material. f) As part of a preventative maintenance programme, thermo graphic testing must be carried out annually, if specifically requested by Insurers. g) Where frying operations are involved, all panels to the side and over the operation, must be replaced by mineral wool or glassfibre with a 60 minute fire resistance or 30 minutes if fryer has a integral fire suppression system. h) A Disaster Recovery plan is in place. i) Outside storage of crates/pallets and the like to be a minimum of 6m, or 1.5m more than the stack height (whichever is the greater) from building line, and metal skips used for waste storage must be a minimum of 5m from building line and should, preferably be of the closed top/secured type. j) Battery chargers must not be suspended from composite panels. k) A Hot Work Permit system must be in operation. Custodian Warranty (NI/UK) It is warranted that the following precautions be adopted for the transit of money: - Up to 3,500 is accompanied by one able bodied person (if applicable); - Between 3,501 and 10,000 is accompanied by two able bodied persons (if applicable); - Between 10,001 and 15,000 is accompanied by three able bodied persons (if applicable); - Above 15,001 up to the certificate limits to be carried by Registered Security Company. Custodian Warranty (ROI) It is warranted that the following precautions be adopted for the transit of money: - Up to 5,000 is accompanied by one able bodied person (if applicable); - Between 5,001 and 12,500 is accompanied by two able bodied persons (if applicable); - Between 12,501 and 20,000 is accompanied by three able bodied persons (if applicable); - Above 20,001 up to the certificate limits to be carried by Registered Security Company. Daily Waste Warranty It is warranted that trade waste is to be swept up and bagged or binned daily and removed from the premises at least once a week. Deep Fat Frying Warranty - 1. the Premises are fitted with the following protections as minimum: a) one water fire extinguisher b) one class F wet chemical extinguisher or fixed wet chemical installation fitted within the hood of any fryer c) one fire blanket all extinguishers are maintained by a recognised company. 2. the insured complies with all recommended safety procedures relating to the machinery plant and equipment at the shop. 3. an extraction system is fitted to all the cooking equipment to separately remove cooking fumes and any exhaust fumes derived from the heat source. 4. no fryer hoods or ducting are within 300mm of any combustible partitions, ceilings, doors or floors unless suitably protected by fire resistant substances or materials. 5. thermostats are fitted to any frying range set to prevent cooking fats rising above 205 degrees centigrade (or the manufacturer s maximum recommended temperature if this is less than 205 degrees centigrade) and including an automatic cut-out in the event of failure of the thermostats. 6. cooking equipment control valves switches and taps are placed so that the heat source can easily be turned off in the event of an emergency. 7. any fryer is equipped with tight fitting lids or pull down covers to facilitate shutdown in the event of a fire. 8. the frying range, extraction system, filters, traps and oil sumps are cleaned at least weekly and that metal receptacles with lids are used to store waste and batter scraps prior to disposal. All batters scraps are removed from the premises at the end of each frying session and placed outside the Building. 9. the extraction system ducting is inspected and cleaned as necessary at least every 3 months.

Dust and Fly Warranty It is warranted that all dust and fly be cleaned from all surfaces, including but not limited to, high surface pipes on a weekly basis. Electrical Circuit Warranty It is warranted that the electrical installation ( the installation ) must be inspected and tested at least once in every five years by a contractor approved by either: a) the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (N.I.C.E.I.C.) or b) Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) or c) SELECT (in respect of Scotland Only) or d) A Building Electrician on the United Kingdom register of Electricians or e) Register of Electrical Contractors of Ireland (in respect of Republic of Ireland Only and that any departures found have been remedied in accordance with the Regulations of the Institute of Electrical Engineers. Notwithstanding the above: 1) in the event that the installation has not been inspected and tested within the five years prior to the inception of this certificate, Underwriters agree to allow the insured up to 60 days from inception to comply with this warranty. 2) in the event that the installation has been inspected and tested within the five years prior to the inception of this certificate, the insured must arrange for a re-inspection and re-test of the installation prior to the end of the fifth year following the date of the last inspection or within 60 days of the inception of this certificate. Heat and Hot Work Permit Warranty Any work involving the application of heat must only be carried out by a qualified contractor and the insured is to ensure the contractor has adequate public liability insurance in force and shall confirm same through sight of certificate of insurance. Subrogation rights against such contractor shall not be waived by the insured. The following warranties apply: 1) the area in which work is to be carried out shall be adequately cleared and combustible materials shall be removed to a distance not less than 6 metres from the area of the proposed work. 2) if work is to be carried out overhead then the area beneath shall be similarly cleared and all combustible materials removed. 3) a suitable fire extinguisher with a capacity of not less than nine litres shall be kept available for immediate use. 4) blow lamps and blow torches shall be lit in as short a time as possible before use and extinguished immediately after use. 5) lighted blow lamps and blow torches shall not be left unattended. 6) half an hour after each period of work a thorough examination shall be made of and in the area in which work has been undertaken. 7) if work is to be carried out in the vicinity of composite/sandwich panels then such panels must be protected by non combustible blankets, drapes or screens. It is further warranted that the Insured shall implement the use of a documented system for the use of Hot Work Permits as agreed by Underwriters whilst contractors are engaged in work involving the use of heat equipment on the premises. The Insured shall also obtain written confirmation from the contractor that they are aware of the Insured s requirement that the precautions as stated on the Hot Work Permit will be adhered to. Kitchen Duct Warranty It is warranted that cooking fume extraction canopies and ductwork are to be cleaned at least every six months by independent contractors and that filters, traps or other grease removal devices therein be cleaned at least fortnightly.

Landlord's Non Invalidation Clause Warranty The insurance in respect of buildings or parts of buildings occupied by the Insured s tenant(s) shall not be invalidated by any act or omission including the failure to comply with any warranty or condition applying under the certificate by the aforementioned tenant(s) or by any alteration whereby the risk of damage is increased unknown to or beyond the control of the insured provided that immediately they become aware thereof they shall give notice to the insurers and pay an additional premium if required. LPG Portable Heating Warranty It is warranted that no portable LPG heating be used on the Assured s premises. Portable Heating Warranty It is warranted that no portable heating be used on the Assured s premises other than canteens, kitchen and office areas. Minimum Protection Warranty It is warranted that the premises meet or exceed the following physical security requirements: 1. five lever mortice deadlock(s) on entry/exit door(s) 2. window locks on all accessible windows Protection Maintenance Warranty It is warranted that all protections provided for the safety of the property insured shall be maintained in good order throughout the period of insurance and shall not be withdrawn, altered or varied without prior consent from Underwriters and shall be in full and effective operation when the premises are closed for business or left unattended and at all other appropriate times. Smoking Warranty It is warranted that at the close of each session the Assured shall carry out a thorough examination of those parts of the premises insured hereunder to which the public have access for smouldering matches, tobacco and the like and furthermore all ashtrays and the like to be emptied into a metal, lidded container and removed from the building for disposal. No Smoking Warranty - 1. a) No smoking is allowed other than in any area specifically designated as an office, canteen break or restroom. 1. b) Suitable receptacles are provided for the disposal of smoking materials. 2. Prominent No Smoking Signs will be displayed throughout the premises. Sprinkler and Fire Extinguishing Appliances Maintenance Clause In consideration of there being installed Automatic Sprinklers, and the Fire Extinguishing Appliances identified below by Item Number(s) of the attached Fire Extinguishing Appliances Scale of Allowances, this Insurance has been written at a reduced premium. It is warranted that the Assured will maintain the said Automatic Sprinklers and Fire Extinguishing Appliances in full working order during the currency of this Insurance and as regards Automatic Sprinklers a)make a test every week for the purpose of ascertaining that the Alarm Gong is in full working order and that the Stop Valves controlling the Water Supplies are fully open, b)ensure that a test is made every twelve months to confirm that the Water Supplies are in order, and that the particulars of such tests are recorded, and c)remedy promptly any defect revealed by such tests. Nevertheless this Insurance shall not be invalidated by any defect in the Automatic Sprinklers or the Fire Extinguishing Appliances due to circumstances unknown to or beyond the control of the Assured.

Unoccupied Premises Warranty -Perils limited to Fire, Lightning, Explosion and Aircraft ONLY -Excluding losses arising out of any refurbishment work. -Warranted premises are secured against illegal entry and all perimeter doors, ground floor and accessible windows are boarded up and letterboxes sealed. -Warranted all services are kept switched off at mains (except electricity needed to maintain any fire or intruder alarm system) and the water installation is properly drained. -Warranted premises inspected internally and externally on at least a weekly basis and any defects remedied immediately. Such visits are to be recorded and any evidence of forced entry, or attempted forced entry or malicious damage to be reported to Underwriters within 7 days of discovery. -Warranted premises cleared of all combustible waste material. -Minimum 50% retained premium for short period cancellation. Valley Gutters Warranty It is warranted that all valley guttering is check for blockages or defects by a competent person at inception or renewal and at six monthly intervals thereafter and any remedial action required to be implemented immediately. A record of all inspections shall be made and retained by the Insured. External Smoking Condition It is a condition precedent to liability that smoking will be prohibited throughout the Premises except in specifically designated external areas, and suitable notices to this effect will be displayed in prominent positions. Metal receptacles are to be provided for waste materials and kept at least 2 metres from the Buildings. Roof Maintenance Warranty 1. any flat felted roof, or part thereof of the Premises shall be inspected at least once every 3 years by a qualified builder or property surveyor and any defect identified by that inspection be repaired immediately. 2. any guttering is checked for blockages or defects by a competent person at inception or renewal and at six monthly intervals thereafter and any remedial action required to be implemented immediately. 3. a record of all inspections shall be made and retained by the Insured. Underwriters reserve the right to inspect records by giving reasonable notice to the Insured. It is warranted that the first inspection is within 90 days of inception. 24 Hour Warranty It is warranted that the assured or the assured's representative are on duty at the insured premises 24 hours per day whilst the premises are open for business. Pipe and Tank Lagging Warranty Underwriters are not liable for loss of or damage to property as a result of burst or leaking water pipes & tanks which are not fully lagged to prevent the water therein from freezing (applicable to all exposed pipes/tanks). Frost A9 Warranty It is a condition precedent to liability of the Insurers hereunder that a temperature of at least 40F (5C) is maintained by use of central heating between October and May inclusive. Unattended/Unlocked Vehicles Warranty Excluding theft to items stored in any unlocked and/or unattended vehicles unless hidden from sight.

Animals & Livestock Warranty Cover hereunder excludes loss or damage to animals, livestock and/or fish other than by fire, lightning, explosion or aircraft. Open/Open Sided Buildings Items stored in an open or open sided building are restricted to perils of Fire, Lightening, Aircraft and Explosion only. Chimney Sweep Warranty Warranted that the Chimney is swept annual and prior to first use. Mechanical Breakdown Clause (a) No claim to attach to this Policy for damage to any working machine caused by its own mechanical breakdown. (b) No claim to attach to this Policy for damage to any working part caused by its own mechanical breakdown. Unoccupied Premises Warranty ROI -Perils limited to Fire, Lightning, Explosion, Aircraft, Theft, Wet Perils and Malicious Damage ONLY - Excess for Fire, Lightning, Explosion & Aircraft perils is 1,000 - Excess for Theft, Wet Perils and Malicious Damage perils is 2,500 -Excluding losses arising out of any refurbishment work. -Warranted premises are secured against illegal entry and letterboxes sealed. -Warranted all services are kept switched off at mains (except electricity needed to maintain any fire or intruder alarm system) and the water installation is properly drained. -Warranted premises inspected internally and externally on at least a weekly basis and any defects remedied immediately. Such visits are to be recorded and any evidence of forced entry, or attempted forced entry or malicious damage to be reported to Underwriters within 7 days of discovery. -Warranted premises cleared of all combustible waste material. - Minimum 50% retained premium for short period cancellation. Minimum Employee Warranty It is warranted that a minimum of 3 staff are on duty at all times when the insured is responsible for customer goods. Stock In Van Warranty It is warranted that stock and equipment in the policyholders van during working hours is covered for the agreed policy perils provided that all protections to the van are in force. It is warranted that stock and equipment stored overnight in the van are covered for the agreed policy perils, provided that all protections to the van are in force and the van is parked in a locked garage. It is warranted that all hand tools are stored out of site. Stock Away from Premises It is warranted that stock and equipment are covered whilst away from the policyholders' premises overnight at a premise the policyholders is working at. It is warranted that these premises have minimum protections in place: It is warranted that the premises meet or exceed the following physical security requirements: 1. five lever mortice deadlock(s) on entry/exit door(s) 2. window locks on all accessible windows

Paint Spraying Warranty It is a condition precedent to liability that all spraying of paints or varnishes with a flash point below 32 degrees centigrade will be carried out in an area enclosed by non-combustible materials and extraction to the open air and any electrical installation including that for extraction will be of flameproof design and any heating will be of the black-heat type and will fully enclosed elements. It is also a condition precedent to liability that: i. Only one days supply of flammables will be kept in the spraying area. ii. All other flammables will be kept in a designated enclosed steel bin or if the stocks of same are substantial they will be kept in a store with high and low level vents to the open air or forced flameproof extractor at floor level. iii. All lighting will also be flameproof. Smoking will be prohibited in the areas where processes are carried and signs to this effect will be. Plant Warranty Immobilised when not in use. Plant & Machinery Warranty Warranted machines are kept in secure areas or locked to a fixed object. Mobile Catering Unit Warranty It is warranted that a hitch lock and wheel clamp are attached to the trailer whenever the trailer is left unattended. The wheel clamp should be locked by using a heavy duty close shackle lock. Open Fire Warranty - Warranted chimneys swept prior to first lighting of season. - Warranted fire guarded when left unattended. Gas Cylinder Warranty All gas cylinders to be stored a minimum of 3 metres from the building. Frying Range and Basket Fryer Attendance Condition Precedent It is a condition precedent to the liability of underwriters that when the frying range or basket fryer at the risk premises is in use, an experienced member of staff must always be in attendance at the range. Woodworking Warranty Warranted all woodworking equipment to be fitted with the requisite dust extraction equipment. Warranted all woodworking equipment to be brushed down at the end of each working day and the resultant debris bagged up and removed from the site. Unoccupied Premises Warranty NI/UK - Perils limited to Fire, Lightning, Explosion, Aircraft, Theft, Wet Perils and Malicious Damage ONLY - Excess for Fire, Lightning, Explosion & Aircraft perils is 1,000 - Excess for Theft, Wet Perils and Malicious Damage perils is 2,500 - Excluding losses arising out of any refurbishment work. - Warranted premises are secured against illegal entry and letterboxes sealed. - Warranted all services are kept switched off at mains (except electricity needed to maintain any fire or intruder alarm system) and the water installation is properly drained.

- Warranted premises inspected internally and externally on at least a weekly basis and any defects remedied immediately. Such visits are to be recorded and any evidence of forced entry, or attempted forced entry or malicious damage to be reported to Underwriters within 7 days of discovery. - Warranted premises cleared of all combustible waste material. - Minimum 50% retained premium for short period cancellation. Equipment In Use Warranty It is warranted that the equipment is never left unattended whilst in use.
