Madam/Sir, I am directed to convey the sanction of President to the payment of Rs.187.3 8 lakh (Rupees one crore eighty seven lakh thirty eight thousand only) to the following State Governments to the extent of amount indicated against each as grants-in-aid during 4th quarter of 2015-16 towards Go l's share (90%) for Nutrition Provision under Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls (RGSEAG) - Sabia: (Rs. in 1akh).. The information on expenditure on Nutrition Provision from I st April to 30th June must be furnished by 15th July, for the period from 1st July to 30th September by 15th October, from the period 1st October to 31st December by 15th January and from 1st January to 31st March be 15th April to enable the Ministry to work out the entitlement of Central assistance of each State Government Administration. 3. This grant-in-aid is towards the expenditure on nutrition component for the Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls (RGSEAG) - 'Sabia'. The payment is provisional and is subject to final adjustment in the light of the audited figures of actual expenditure for the year as a whole. 4. Sabla is Centrally Sponsored Scheme in which the Centre and States/UTs both have contributions. The cost sharing ratio for the Scheme Sabia has been revised from the financial year 2015-16 to 90: 10 between the Centre and the State (for North Eastern States). The above fw1ds are being released to States on the basis of new cost sharing ratio and is subject to the following conditions: 1. The amount of grant will have to be utilized for all the components under the Schemes as per the schematic norms; ~ 11. The amount of grant-in-aid is finally adjustable in the books of the Principal Pay and Accounts Office, Ministry of Women & Child Development, D-Wing, Ground Floor, Shastri Bhawan,. The payment of the State would be arranged through the Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur. The State Accountant Generals will send intimation regarding receipt of grant-in-aid to the Principal Pay & Accounts Office, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Shastri Bhawan, D-Wing, Ground Floor,. 7. The pattern of grants has been approved by the Ministry of Finance. This sanction is being issued in conformity with the rules and principles of the scheme approved by the Competent Authority. 8. This grant-in-aid is towards the expenditure on nutrition component for the Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls (RGSEAG) - 'Sabia'. The payment is provisional and is subject to final adjustment in the light of the audited figures of actual expenditure for the year as a whole. 4. Sabia is Centrally Sponsored Scheme in which the Centre and States both have contributions. The above funds are being released to States on the basis of cost sharing ratio of 90: 10 between the Centre and States. The sanction of funds is subject to the following conditions : l. 11. The payment of the State would be arranged through the Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur. The State Accountant Generals will send intimation regarding receipt of grant-in-aid to the Principal Pay & Accounts Office, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Shastri Bhawan, D-Wing, Ground Floor,. 7. The pattern of grants has been approved by the Ministry of Finance. This sanction is being issued in conformity with the rules and principles of the scheme approved by the Competent Authority. 8.
