Dear Valued Client, Greetings of the day! It is our pleasure to inform you that Proficient is about to launch a new product named Systematic Positional Trading in Nifty Futures with the objective of long term wealth generation. You are invited to participate in this program. We trade Nifty in our proprietary account according to an in-house model designed by our own research analysts. These are positional trades with clearly defined entry & exit points. The model does not try to predict what the market is going to do next, but it reacts to any change in environment & tries to stay in the primary direction of the prices. Once you choose to participate in this program, you will be intimidated of all our entry & exit points hours before the actual orders are triggered. Barring a few exceptions, we take all our trades with stop orders & these orders are placed sufficiently away from prices. This ensures that no trade is missed due to communication lag. The following reports contain: (a) A summary of the characteristics of the system. Upon going through this summary, you will have a clear idea about the risk/reward profile of the model as well as the long term positive expectancy of the system. (b) A detailed report of the trades generated by our model since February 2017 and the associated equity curve. (The model is back-tested till 2006. But in order to remove any bias, we are including here only the trades we took since we went live with this system) You are requested to take a close look at these reports & if there is any confusion, feel free to talk to us at 97486 43892. After all, we have the highest regard for informed investors! Looking forward to see you on board, Proficient Equities Pvt. Ltd 23 R.N Mukherjee Road, BNCCI House,4 th Floor, Kolkata 700001, Phone: 033-4026-6300, Mob: 9748643892.

Proficient Launches: A Positional Trading Model in Nifty for Long Term Wealth Generation Proficient Equities Pvt.Ltd, 23 R.N Mukherjee Road, BNCCI House,4 th Floor, Kolkata 700001, Phone: 033-4026-6300, Mob: 9748643892.

It is a trend following model based on Volatility Breakout. Almost all positions are taken with stop orders. The system generates approximately 4 trades per month. Win Ratio: Our Nifty Trading System has a win ratio of 42%. It means, out of every 10 trades we take, we generally earn profit in approximately 4 trades & lose in 6 trades. In addition, only 20% of the trades are responsible for 80% of our profits. But these are only average figures. Long streaks are common to any system. So far we have experienced 6 losing trades in a row as our largest losing streak. A simple Monte Carlo simulation performed on the profit/loss distribution as generated by our system suggests that we should be ready for even bigger losing streaks somewhere down the line in future. In the following paragraphs below, we will advise our clients proper asset allocation techniques in order to mitigate such risks of losing streaks. The objective is to survive the dry spells with minimum loss to enjoy the long term positive expectancy of the system. Pay-Off Ratio: Our pay-off ratio is approximately 2.40, ie, the average wins are approximately two & half times larger than average losses. Obviously, this is true only on a large sample size. In short term, outcomes generally tend to be random in nature. Drawdown Characteristics: So far, we have experienced a maximum drawdown of 366 points in a four month period. Given the general long term bullish undertone of the equity market where Nifty is expected to rise in absolute value, it is safe to assume that future drawdowns will exceed previous records. However, with proper risk management technique we can handle this uncertainty. Asset Allocation Recommendation: As on Nov 2017, we recommend our clients to keep aside Rs 1.60 lacs to trade 1 lot of Nifty. This kind of asset allocation is recommended to ensure that we comfortably walk past any magnitude of drawdowns that our system might experience in future to reap the long term benefit of its positive expectancy. However, it is only the starting point & clients will not require 100% profit to add another contract. We will advise exactly where to increase position. This is conveyed shortly.

Profit Expectations: On a conservative estimate, we can expect to earn 900-1000 points in Nifty per year from our trading system. This is approximately 50% return on capital per year, after brokerage. Position Sizing: In order to achieve the benefits of compounding, we advise our clients to use Fixed Ratio Position Sizing with Delta=65%. This technical jargon merely implies a particular mathematical technique of adding more contracts when certain pre-defined profit targets are reached. When combined with our Nifty trading system, this position sizing logic has the potential of achieving 900% returns in approximately 6/7 years. In short, we will tell our clients exactly where to add more contracts, when certain pre-defined profit targets are reached. But this will be a customized service since every individual has a different objective & perspective of risk also varies widely. The Psychological Roller Costar: We follow Rule-Based Mechanical Trading Systems, where every entry, exit & Position Sizing Criteria are predefined to the utmost details. We have traded our systems in every possible kinds of markets in past several years & from the result, we are quite confident that past performance could be reasonably reproduced in future within statistically acceptable deviation. But this is not a guarantee. The advantages of such mechanical rule based systems are manifold, eg, we have clear ideas as to what kind of drawdowns, profit potentials etc could be reasonably expected from our system. We have given these figures above from previous experiences & from these figures we also worked out the minimum capital required to trade Nifty according to our model. These are strong advantages indeed. We hope our clients appreciate the sincerity & degree of hard work we have put behind our systems to extract these numbers with such clarity. However, we must also clearly disclose that our system can not generate profits in every market conditions. No legitimate system can do this (unless it is curve fitted). In other words, there will frequently be long, exasperating sequence of losing trades, followed by unexpectedly quick & sharp recovery to a new equity peak, followe d again by periods of dry spells. As mentioned earlier, our largest drawdown so far has been over 3 months long & going forward we expect even bigger lean phases. And in spite of all these, we have a habit of achieving our annual profit targets quite easily. These are in fact, the characteristics of any trend following system. If this psychological ups & downs are too demanding on you, our trading system will not suit you. If you expect to earn profit every day, every week or even every month, our system may not suit you psychologically. If you are not comfortable with the idea of sacrificing a large open profit in pursuit of even bigger profit, our system may not suit you psychologically. On the other hand, if you think you can overcome these psychological constraints, we are very likely to have a bright future together.

Any population meant for a statistical test should be comprised of at minimum 30 samples. Therefore, we request you to follow us at least for 30 trades to judge whether we deliver on our promises & whether we are the best research group in India. Rest assured, we at Proficient Research, have burnt midnight oils to design a plan not merely to make your trades profitable, but your entire trading career as well. Take advantage of it.
