New CASH VANS (Number may be increased on requirement) to be located at, Harada and Burhanpur (places decided by the Bank) with driver, on hire basis for transportation of banks cash/gold/persons etc. for a period of 3 years. The tenderers are required to give complete Bio-data of the agency as their introduction alongwith the details as asked for in the tender. The tenders in the Bank s format duly signed should be submitted in the following manner at Bank s Corporate Services Department, Bank of India, Zonal Office, Anandnagar Khandwa:- (i) Covers should be superscribed as 1 st cover containing Technical Bid Technical Bid for Cash Van on Hire Basis 2 nd cover containing Financial Bid Financial Bid for Cash Van on Hire Basis (ii) Tender forms are available at cost of Rs. 300/- per form by DD/ pay order at above mentioned address between working hours from 05-01-2013 to 11.30 a.m. on 12-01-2013.The same can also be downloaded from website. Technical & Security Specifications of Cash Van on Mahindra Bolero Camper vehicle ANNEXURE A 1. A four door (two on front side, one in the middle and one at the rear) cash van shall be fabricated. A/C will be for Cabin/Passenger only. 2. All doors (except rear) to have glass window pane with regulators. 3. All windows shall have 1 square thick wiremesh having 5 to 6 wide firing slot spread across the window on lower side of the window. 4. Front wind screen to have 1 square thick wiremesh in two partitions to cover wind shield from stone pelting. 5. All doors to have door lock from inside and outside and rear door to have internal (in-built lock) and aldrop with pad locking arrangement. 6. Cash cage to have fix partition (half portion made of thick tin sheet and upper half to have 12 mm square iron rod grill partition) in the front portion and a collapsible gate with double locking arrangement at the rear and folding rail at the ground. 7. Arrangement for seating shall be as under (in addition to driver seat) :- (i) Co-driver seat. (ii) Full Length Seat in the middle (iii) Cash Cage in the rear. 8. Rear door to have strong steps to board the boxes and on the cash van. 9. An alarm system with one panic switch each at co-drivers seat, middle seat shall be provided. The same shall be connected directly with battery so that siren can be sounded even if vehicle is in off position. The alarm will be puechased from vendor approved by the Bank. 10. Fans to be provided for co-driver, middle and two at the rear seat. 11. All doors to have independent locking system not connected with each other. 12. Roof of van to have thermocol support (except in cash cage) of 1½ or so. 13. One spare stepney shall always be carried alongwith the vehicle. 14. One call bell having press button at the rear seat and bell near drivers seat shall be provided. 15. One dry chemical fire extinguisher (one kg capacity) ABC type (stored pressure) shall be provided near driver seat. -2

16. One first aid box with adequate first aid kit shall be fitted near drivers seat. -2-17. All seats shall have a minimum of 6 seat cushion and also provided with washable seat covers. 18. The cash van shall be marked with ON DUTY GOVT. OF INDIA. 19. Driver shall always have complete tool kit containing fan belts, air pump, spare bulbs, jack and handle and tools to open wheels and minor repairs. 20. Adequate numbers and length of box securing chains shall be provided in the cash cage firmly fixed with body of the vehicle. 21. The driver of the cash van shall have police verification report and the same shall be applicable for relieving driver also. 22. The cash van will be used for carrying Bank s treasure/gold/material/men or any other official duty to place required by Bank.. The charges will be uniform for all duties. 23. The cash van will be registered in the name of bidding firm and will have all required clearance from concerned authorities. 24. The cash van will be hired for a period of 3 years with option of 1 month notice for terminating the contract with both sides. 25. We are pleased to inform that the offer quoted by you has been found to be lowest as such we propose to award the contract to your firm on the following terms and condition : a. The Mahindra Bolero cash van will be modified as stipulated in the tender. For your ready reference we enclose the requirements as appx to this letter. b. The Cash Van will be fitted with security alarm system of make approved by us and it should be directly connected to battery and should operate independently of vehicle key. c. The validity of the contract will be for 3 years. However, the contract can be terminated with notice of 30 days by either side. d. Monthly rental/hire charges of Rs.19700/- per month (Rupees Ninteen thousand seven hundreds only) will be paid by Bank. This is inclusive of fuel charges, Driver s salary, repairs, maintenance, insurance of vehicle etc. e. The Cash Van would be available to the Chest for 8 working hours per day. The time will be mutually decided with Branch Manager/Currency Chest Officer of Arera Hills branch. f. The run of the cash van shall be 2000 Kms. per month on yearly average basis. Balance of Kms., which remain uncovered in a month, will be carried forward till the end of the year. Payment of Km. over & above 24000 Kms in a year will be made at the rate of Rs.5.00 per Km. A proper Log Book should be maintained in this regard. The counting of Kms. will start from the branch at the beginning of a day and like wise finish at the branch at the close of the day. Over time charges will be Rs. 35/- per hour, over and above 8 hours. g. You will provide Mobile Handset along with the vehicle to be used in an emergency and to keep a track of Cash Van. Official calls made by Bank to the tune of Rs. 150/- per month will be borne by you. Life time connection will be provided by you.

Contd.. 2/ Page No: 2 h. The cash van should be provided with chain to secure the cash boxed to be carried in the Van and extra lock latch on the rear door for safe keeping of cash while on move. i. The antecedents of Driver of the Cash Van should be verified by Police Authorities and the certificate submitted to Bank. This will be applicable also in case the Driver is changed. The change of Driver should be informed to the Branch Manager/Currency Chest Officer and his police verification submitted along with the letter. j. The expenses/charges etc. regarding paying Insurance of Cash Van, RTO tax, passing certificate from RTOs etc. will be borne by you. k. In case the Cash Van is not made available by you on any day, you will have to arrange/provide another acceptable mode or reimburse the expenses of cash transportation made at the center. l. The contractual arrangement can be discontinued with 30 days notice on either side. 3. We are forwarding two copies of this letter to you. In case the offer of our terms and conditions are acceptable, you are requested to return one copy duly signed to us.
