REG NO. SOEL 125 REVIEW REPORT OF INTERIM FINANCIAL STATEMENTS To the Shareholders of «THRACE PLASTICS SOCIETE INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL COMPANY» Introduction We have reviewed the accompanying parent and consolidated Balance Sheet of «THRACE PLASTICS ABEE» (the ) for the period ended on 30 June 2007, as well as the Income Statement, the Statement of changes in Shareholder s equity and the cash flow statements for the and the for the year, as well as the summary of the most important accounting policies and notes on the financial statements. The responsibility for the compilation of the financial statements lies with the management of the company in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards as these are adopted by the European Union and are applied in the interim period (IAS 34). Our responsibility is to express an opinion on this interim summary financial information based on the conducted review. Scope of the review We conducted our review in accordance with the International Review Standard 2410 Review of Interim Financial Reporting Conducted by an Independent Auditor of the Financial Unit, on which the Greek Reviewing Standards are based. The review consists of the implementation of procedures for the establishment of information, mainly from individuals who are responsible for financial and accounting issues and the implementation of critical analysis and other review procedures. The scope of a review is substantially limited compared to an audit conducted based on the Greek Auditing Standards, and thus it does not provide us the ability to gain reassurance that all significant issues have come to our knowledge that would be noted in an audit. Thus the present report does not constitute an audit report. Opinion Based on the conducted review, nothing has come to our attention that causes us to believe that the accompanying interim financial statements have not been prepared, from any view, according to IAS 34. Without reservation as to the review s conclusions, we draw your attention to note 9 that is THRACE PLASTICS Co. SA INTERIM FINANCIAL STATEMENTS (PARENT AND CONSOLIDATED) AS OF 30.6.2007

reported in the notes to consolidated financial statements, and which mention that tax liabilities of the and some of s subsidiaries are not tax-audited by tax authorities and there is a possibility that additional taxes may be imposed at the time the tax audit will be finalised. As a result, there is a possibility that additional taxes and surcharges may be imposed during the time such will be audited and finalized. The outcome of the tax audit can not be estimated at the current stage, and thus no relevant provision has been made in the financial statements. The tax rate used to calculate the deferred tax is the one tht is estimated to prevail by the time the temporary tax differences would be reversed. For the companies operating in Greece this rate is 25% The analysis of income tax charged on the results is as follows: 1.1-30.6.2007 1.1-30.6.2006 1.1-30.6.2007 1.1-30.6.2006 Income tax (1,863) (2,267) (309) (1,337) Deferred tax income/(expense) 62 201 121 361 Total (1,801) (2,066) (188) (976) In Greece, the results reported to tax authorities are deemed temporary and are subject of examination by the tax authorities. Therefore, for the non-examined fiscal years there is the possibility for additional tax at the time the tax authorities will examine them.
