Main TA Activities in FY16 Egypt Assistance on compilation of Supply and Use tables and related GDP estimates by production, income and expenditure approaches at current and constant prices. Iraq Review of sources and methods: adoption of new benchmark year for NA estimates (the previous GDP estimates were outdated, based on 1998); rebasing of GDP time series and development of data sources for regular NA compilation are the key priorities for further TA. Main TA Activities in FY16 Jordan Support on rebasing the GDP time series to 2010, adopted as a new base year. Lebanon Assessment of sources and procedures for compiling the government sector accounts, suggesting areas for further improvement. Updating of General Data Dissemination System (GDDS) metadata for compilation of NA. Banking Supervision 4

Main TA Activities in FY16 Sudan Assistance in rebasing of GDP time series, enhancing the administrative data exchange, and integrating the administrative source data into the national accounts compilation system. WBG Rebasing of the quarterly time series to the annual volumes at 2010 base year. The priorities for development of the national accounts, including a system for integrated economic accounts, were aligned with the METAC program. Banking Supervision 5

Main TA Activities in FY16 Afghanistan Guidance provided to address issues regarding the collection of data on trade in goods and aids flows; Training in the methodology of the IMF s sixth edition of the BPM6. WBG Assisted the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) in assessing the scope and quality of inward direct investment (DI) survey results; Training in trade in services statistics Banking Supervision 6

Main TA Activities in FY16 Iraq Together with the officials from the CBI and key representatives from Ministry of Oil, Central Statistics Organization, and the MOF a METAC mission analyzed reasons for growing statistical discrepancy in external sector Banking Supervision 7
